Take a boat trip to discover Rovaniemi and its surroundings in an original way. Discover many iconic sites from the Arctic rivers Ounasjoki and Kemijoki. This program not only lets you discover the surrounding countryside, but also the culture and landmarks that define Rovaniemi. This program is also offered in the evening, so you can enjoy the midnight sun (upon request).

Itinerary
This tour explores Rovaniemi city from the river, learning about its history, crossing the arctic circle, making open fire on an island, visiting Ounasvaara hill, and visiting Rovaniemi's church. It also includes a stop at an island for open fires and stories about the city.
You will approach the iconic bridge by boat and your guide will tell you about its design and tell you stories about old time lumberjacks.
Our cruises will then take you south of Rovaniemi on Kemijoki river where you will see the local Lutheran church and your guide will tell you about its history and the little island nearby.
Our boat cruise will take you along some natural beach located around Ounasjoki

We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Herve is knowledgeable and professional. We learnt a lot about Lapland and Finland. Herve provided plenty of useful information and advices. The boat ride was smooth and the BBQ at Laavu was tasty. We loved juustoleipä with cloudberry jam - it was delicious. I would highly recommend this tour agency and the extended professionalism, to anyone who wants to feel the spirit of nature, wind in the hair and scent of the mighty rivers.
