What a winner! Arahia was such a fabulous guide. We visited very interesting & wonderful places..Geyser, mudpool, Taupo, Huka Waterfalls & Hamilton garden. Pick up was on time, very comfortable van. We never felt rushed, given a lot of information and history by our very friendly guide. It was a full day but very worth it. Thank you Ari and cheeky kiwi tour. Highly recommended.
What a glowing review — thank you! Arahia truly has a wonderful way of sharing the stories of Aotearoa and we're so glad all the stops made such an impression. We'd love to see you back on another journey with us!
A great day, Matt was knowledgeable and friendly. The trip balanced time to look and explore without rushing or time dragging. Well worth it. Thanks Matt
Kia ora! Sounds like a beautifully balanced day! It’s great to hear Matt helped make the journey both relaxed and engaging, with just the right amount of time at each stop. We’d love to welcome you back for more adventures in the future. Until then, safe travels and thanks again for choosing Cheeky Kiwi! Ngā mihi, Cheeky Kiwi Travel 🚌🥝
We did 3 seperate Cheeky Kiwi tours. Two with Vicky (2 day Bay of Islands & 1 day Rotorua-Auckland) and one with Matt (Auckland-Rotorua) and we enjoyed them immensely and booked the last two based on our experience of the first. It’s great if you don’t want to drive and you can see a great deal of the more (such as Hobbiton) and less popular attractions whilst travelling between the major towns. Both Vicky and Matt are also both very knowledgeable, friendly and good at encouraging each group to bond together to make your tour experience even better. Thoroughly recommended.
Kia ora Booking two more tours after the first one is about the best feedback we could ask for, so thank you for that. It’s great to hear how well the multi-day experience worked for you, especially being able to relax, skip the driving, and still see a mix of the big-name highlights like Hobbiton alongside some lesser-visited spots as you moved between towns. Vicky and Matt both have a real talent for reading the group and helping people connect, which makes a huge difference on longer journeys. When the group gels, the days tend to flow better and feel a lot more memorable, so it’s awesome to hear that stood out for you. Thanks for travelling with us and for the thorough recommendation. We’d love to welcome you back again if your travels ever bring you our way. Ngā mihi, Cheeky Kiwi Travel 🚌🥝
