This was a great way to tour, which you could do at your own pace. We took breaks, stayed longer at some locations, and generally took our time. Sometimes it was hard to reconnect to the talk once part way around, though, not sure if it was us or the audio tracking which was the problem.
The information that was recounted on the App was quite informative and there was nothing wrong with that and everything started off OK but at the 3rd stage we encountered works taking place on the route and had to detour. This then compounded a problem of getting back onto the right chapter of the tour which coincided with the place we were at. I know it’s trying to be clever with GPS tracking to tell where you are but for us old technophobes it would have been better to say “ Press continue when you reach the Ponte Norte” or similar. We pressed the pause button a couple of times and then resumed with the play button only to find the narrator beginning at the start of the previous section again. Eventually we got the hang of it but only 1/2 way through. It also was very long and Ronda having steep up and down sections to the town we ended up walking some 8km but we slept well!!
This was great! To have audio and a map made this self-guided tour thoroughly enjoyable. The guide was easy to understand and I didn’t find the guitar music distracting. (I think it can be muted in the program’s settings if it bothers you.) At one point, the route was obstructed by a locked gate, but with the map in hand, I was able to detour and then rejoin the route. Early in the tour, there is a suggestion that you stop by the tourist office and buy a Bono Municipal, which gives you entry into 5 places of interest in Ronda. I did so and used the ticket over the next few days instead of stopping while I was listening to the program. It’s best to download the program and become familiar with the app before beginning the tour.
Very bad experience, no clear direction to go, and no location name to tell, so waste time to finger out things you need to know, so we stopped this service in half hour and go by ourselves
The narrator was clear and had a pleasant voice. We stopped in a few places and the system picked up from where we were. The only annoying thing was the guitar background music which was nice but too loud when you are trying to hear what’s he saying and you the background music plus the street noise as well. We should be able to disable that but otherwise worth the price. I learned lots about Ronda.
Excellent audio guide. Great that you can do the tour at your own pace and stop and start as you wish. The narrator was excellent. He was very clear and so interesting to listen to. The technology was great and the music played between stops was beautiful.
A very simple way to get a walk around the town that you can do at your own pace, but with enough information to give you a feel for the place and history
The tour with the audio guide was easy to use. You couldn’t get lost because you could visualize in real time on an interactive plane. There is only one place we couldn’t pass since it was closed. So we had to bypass the hotel in question, that’s the only thing that wasn’t indicated on the plan... the hotel was under renovation. We were able to take beautiful photos of the bridge and the beautiful panoramic view of Ronda. This is really a place to see.
We hadn't done something like this in the past, but absolutely loved it! We didn't have much time to spend in Ronda but wanted to get some information and not just walk around aimlessly. This was the perfect solution. The instructions were super clear & easy to follow without getting lost. I wish they had this in more cities!
Great product - informative and just the right level of detail. Very easy to follow the tour. Highly recommend - I have already purchased another tour.
