Arriving at Finca La Melonera, one of Ronda's most esteemed organic wineries, you'll embark on a guided tour of the vineyards. Learn about the revival of indigenous grape varieties and the estate's commitment to sustainable viticulture. In the barrel room, discover the intricate winemaking process before indulging in a curated tasting of their finest wines, perfectly paired with appetizers.
Following the winery experience, you'll have two hours to explore the historic town of Ronda at your own pace. Marvel at the iconic Puente Nuevo, which majestically spans the 100-meter-deep El Tajo gorge, connecting the old Moorish quarter with the newer part of town. Delve into Ronda's rich history by visiting landmarks such as the Plaza de Toros, one of Spain's oldest bullrings, and the well-preserved Baños Árabes (Arab Baths) dating back to the 13th century. Stroll through the cobblestone streets, soak in panoramic views from various miradores, and perhaps savor local delicacies at a traditional café.

Three of us had a great winery tour with Peter yesterday! He was helpful through the organizing process - very communicative and had lots of good information. Our meet up location was straightforward. Peter has lots of local information and knows the best wineries to visit for what you like. Highly recommend you go on a tour with him!
Thank you so much!
Despite a colder, rainy day, we had the best trip from Costa del Sol to Ronda — thanks to Peter (our driver and guide). Peter communicated well before the day even arrived. He paid attention to all the details and allowed us to explore Ronda wines and the town without any worry. He selected 2 wineries with great red wines — our favorite. He arranged snacks did the tastings and gave us great ideas to explore Ronda. And he is an AMAZING driver up and down the mountain.
Thank you so much!, I am so glad you had a wonderful time.
We had a wonderful day on our trip to Ronda. Thomas was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable on the area in the history, and went out of his way to see some hidden gems. We would not have seen otherwise. Can’t recommend this trip more!
Thank you so much!
Ronda is well known for its famous bridge and bull fighting ring but, maybe less so for its wine. We had an excellent experience visiting Bodega La Melonera with our tour guide Peter. We were introduced to the history of viticulture in the region and tasted some unique blends using local varieties of grapes. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, flexible, and spoke excellent English. I highly recommend spending the day with Peter and exploring Ronda and its surrounding wineries.
Thank you so much!
We had such a great time!! Peter was a great host, was knowledgeable on the wineries in the area and picked a perfect one for us. After the winery we headed to Ronda, where Peter made lunch reservations for us with a perfect view of the Puente Nuevo Bridge. The ride there and back was beautiful, so picturesque. Loved it!!
Thank you so much
We really enjoyed our time not only at the winery and Ronda but with our guide Thomas! We can’t wait to book again with costa excursions! Would highly recommend!
Thank you so much!
Great day trip to La Melonera vineyard where we tasted 3 delicious wines and two olive oils - very interesting. We were picked up in Málaga by Peter who was very accommodating and friendly. He drove us to the vineyard and then dropped us in Ronda where we had time to explore and have lunch. Very good communication throughout and an extremely enjoyable day.
Thank you so much
What a beautiful day we had on our wine tasting experience. We were driven through the mountains to Ronda where we had two hours to explore this wonderful town. From there we visited two gorgeous vineyards and were treated to fabulous food and wine. Nicky was amazing and very informative as was Freda. We would highly recommend this trip and we would also do the trip again next time we are in Marbella. A perfect day ❤️
A great trip. The tour of the winery was great, and the driver gave us a really nice tour of the city. The driver also helped us find a great place for lunch that was a bit away from the touristy areas, so that was really great too. It was a great day trip and I'd highly recommend it.
Thank you so much for your review
Thomas was driver for our private tour in Ronda. He picked us up directly from our hotel early to ensure we had enough time to make our scheduled winery visit. Winery was great- even in the off season. They showed up the vineyards and explained how they produced the wines we were having. Thomas was extremely knowledgeable and explained a lot of history about the region. This tour gave us enough time to see all the photo worthy sights without being rushed and had time at the end for a drink. Highly recommend.
