Itinerary
Your day begins with a personalized pickup from your Málaga or Marbella accommodation. Settle into comfort as we traverse the picturesque Andalusian landscape, adorned with olive groves, orange orchards, and the region's iconic white villages.
Our destination is Finca La Melonera, a distinguished organic winery nestled in the heart of the Serranía de Ronda. Here, you'll embark on an immersive 1.5-hour tour that includes a stroll through the vineyards, a visit to the barrel room, and insights into the winery's commitment to reviving indigenous grape varieties like Tintilla and Rome. The experience culminates in a curated tasting of their exceptional wines, complemented by appetizers.
Following the winery visit, you'll have approximately two hours to explore the enchanting town of Ronda at your own pace. Marvel at the architectural wonder of the Puente Nuevo, which majestically spans the 100-meter-deep El Tajo gorge, connecting the old Moorish quarter with the newer part of town. Delve into Ronda's rich history by visiting landmarks such as the Plaza de Toros, one of Spain's oldest bullrings, and the well-preserved Baños Árabes (Arab Baths) dating back to the 13th century. Stroll through the cobblestone streets, soak in panoramic views from various miradores, and perhaps savor local delicacies at a traditional café.
After your exploration, we'll reconvene for a comfortable drive back to your accommodation, allowing you to reflect on a day filled with cultural immersion, culinary delights, and breathtaking landscapes. This tour seamlessly blends the pleasures of fine wine, rich history, and stunning scenery, offering an authentic taste of Andalusia's treasures.

Amazing experience! Peter wasn’t just a driver he was a wealth of information about Marbella and the surrounding areas. We met Peter in Ronda and being from the area, we felt like part of the family. He took us to the local areas and enjoyed a wonderful lunch over looking the city. The Bull Ring was beautiful. Although, I’m not a fan of bull fighting the history was interesting.
Thank you so much for your review.
Our driver/guide, Oliver contacted us the day before to check all was ok and sure enough was ready and waiting 10 minutes early. The car was a Mercedes and spotlessly clean. Oliver’s English was impressive and the trip to Ronda flew by. Gorgeous scenery on the way. As we had a little time , Oliver took us to a fabulous spot to take the perfect snap of the “New Bridge” ( never would have found it on our own) . On arrival at the winery, we had another private guide, Victor who filled us in on the history and wine-making process. We had a lovely tasting (generous) and delicious tapas. On pick up we were toured around Ronda and stopped off at the church and also a hotel with the best view of the bullring from the roof- top bar. We then stopped for a tapas/lunch at a recommended spot full of locals. We loved it- reasonable too! From there we headed home. We very much appreciated how Oliver adapted the trip to us . A thoroughly enjoyable day! A tremendous day!
Thank you
Looked after from start to finish. Great communication throughout. Oliver was a great guide, driver and fun throughout! The winery was stunning with a great guide there also (Victoria). We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting.
Thank you!!
This trip was a high point of our Malaga holiday. So easy to book and all arrangements were exactly as described. Our driver and guide, Oliver, was sensational! Charming, funny and knowledgeable, he was a true asset to our experience. The day was beautiful, the wine excellent, and the arrangements fantastic. A great way to see the country in comfort and ease.
Thank you so much for your review
3 bottles of wine shared between a group of approx 16 people which was disappointing. The tour was in Spanish mainly and a rushed English translation was given. We enjoyed the self guided tour of Rhonda and our driver was very helpful with advice. The wine tour was very disappointing and not value for money
I am very sorry you had a bad experience. People usually enjoy this tour a lot and we have very good reviews. Being Easter week it is true that there were more people than usual at the winery. In any case very sorry and we will let the winery know about it.
Great trip. Excellent winery. Great restaurant in Ronda. Great tour guide. Recommend tour. You will like tour.
