Booked this private sunset cruise as a surprise for my husband. Just the right length of time 1.5 hrs. Ricardo was a great host, good English and very knowledgable and interactive. He arranged the most stunning red sunset ;-) and surprise bubbly. Background music available. The meet and great and email communications were 10/10 from Sandra.

We had the chance to be in touch with Sandra to book 2 boat rides during our stay. Sandra is incredibly kind, caring and attentive to our expectations. Our guides, Ricardo and Antonio, are just like her. We had two magical moments thanks to them and we learned a lot about Faro and Portugal.

I had booked the tour as a couple (for a marriage proposal) and it was a 10 out of 10! From the beginning you can plan and discuss everything with the super nice boss Sandra and the boater Ricardo managed it to the end and prepared the surprise fantastically! He first showed us a small lake in the flamingo “Life” and then the tour continued to the abandoned island. During a walk of about 10 minutes (all alone and surrounded only by sea water) Ricardo could prepare everything nicely on the boat. Back to the boat everything was already full of rose petals and you could enjoy the romantic moment alone. Ricardo took pictures and videos during this time, so you have a great memory forever. Afterwards, sparkling wine was toasted and the boat trip continued. In the middle of Ria Formosa we stopped again to watch the sunset from a magnificent view. Then we went back to the port and the tour was over. It was an absolute dream and I can recommend this option to anyone who wants a unique and unforgettable moment for the marriage proposal! Thanks to the team - you guys are awesome!

I reached out to Islands4You on Instagram after seeing the many recommendations and reviews online. The team were fantastic from start to finish as we planned the perfect romantic sunset trip to one of the remote islands at sunset, very accommodating with my requests to make the evening special, all confirmed really easily over WhatsApp and email which included details and a photo of the meeting point. I reached out on the morning of the trip to reconfirm and everything was set. We met Ricardo 15mins before heading off, he was very knowledgeable about the local wildlife and we stopped along the way as a part of the tour so we could learn more about Ria Formosa. We stopped at one of the main islands to take in the scenery and the proceeded to one of the remote sandy islands of Ria Formosa. It was the perfect way to propose to my Fiancée, nobody else around apart from Ricardo who captured the surprise for us! On the way back to Faro, we sipped champagne that the team had arranged and took in the Amazing sunset. A truly special way to plan a proposal in the Algarve and I couldn’t recommend Islands4You enough if you wanted to plan something similar or just enjoy and learn about the nature surrounding Faro. (On a side note, fear not if you get travel/motion sick - the boats are very stable due to their design, we only encountered wake from passing boats but some great piloting smoothed the waves out). Thank you once again for making our journey so special, we will certainly visit again when we’re back in Faro ❤️

This boat trip was fantastic, we all really enjoyed it, especially watching the sunset and listening to music in the background. Our skipper was also very friendly, really knowledgeable about the birds, sea creatures and nature around, interacted with us all and spoke in many languages. recommend this tour when in Faro even with children as we had kids aged 11 and 14 yrs old.
