We booked a family of 10 in July 2026. We paid $790-$30 TripAdvisor coupon = $760 total for 10 people. We followed the instructions to find Roatan Anderson Tours and didn't need to show a receipt to check-in (I had it in my Apple Wallet just in case). We walked 1/4 mile from the cruise Port to the Zip Line place. We dropped our backparks off at the Zip Line office and got our gear on and then rode a fun truck up a 30 degree incline to the top of the course. The 16 Zip lines were great and the staff was fun and friendly, allowing us to do tricks on the zip lines. Then we were shuttled with another family of 4 in a van to West Bay beach, and as expected, it was overrun with vendors. We navigated past them and went snorkeling for 27 minutes. It was fun but short. We then decided to immediately go back to the ship rather than stay at that stressful beach. We were glad we did, as traffic returning to the cruise port was horrendous. The 20 minute drive to the beach took 45 minutes back. We briefly stopped at the ROATAN sign on the drive back. Overall, we were glad we did it.
Hands down, our favorite cruise excursion! The tour guides and zipline crew made sure we had an unforgettable experience. Our boys and family friends even got to do tricks on the ziplines! We held all the animals we wanted, stopped for a delicious chocolate tasting, and our snorkeling guide took us to an incredible spot where we saw colorful fish and beautiful coral. It was an adventure we’ll never forget!
The tour was great, but somehow I double booked and was charged twice. Nobody really knew how to fix this or give me a refund for the extra two tickets that I paid for inadvertently. Hopefully this will be rectified in the next couple of days. The guys that ran, the zip line were awesome! I made sure everyone received a gratuity.
Hi hope all is well you talk to me directly Anderson owner of the company i told you made the booking i think you had 4 in your party its something guest does all the time i told you it wasnt a problem i could had the refunded for you it wasnt a problem i already did from the sameday why go and say different from what we talk about
Once in a life time for these two old farts! It was our 55Anniversary bash with family and friends and it was great !!!!
This tour was SO fun and the guides were wonderful!! One thing we didn't realize was that the zip line experience was 16, yes 16 zip lines. It took a long time to do, but we enjoyed it so much, I would definitely do it again! It was wonderful to see everyone from those who were pretty brave from the beginning to the timid and scared gain in confidence was they went. The men manning the experience are strong and very good at directions; as long as you listen to them and do what they say, you will be fine. I am over 60 years old and was doing flips off the deck! Also others I had never met became like family as we encountered and cheered each other on. Just marvelous. And my friend who is less mobile and was scared at the beginning had a blast! One piece of advice: you can't really carry anything with you or you may lose it, but you can leave your things at the reception and they are trustworthy. Do ask them to get you a bottle of water if you find you need one; it was very hot and humid, and I started becoming dehydrated, but they noticed and zip lined water to me!! 😁 We decided to skip the wildlife sanctuary as we wanted to have plenty of time to snorkel, so one of the guides took us there right after the zip lining. We were on a boat by ourselves apart from the boat driver and REALLY enjoyed the experience!!
After a walk from the cruise ship, we met our guide who kept us on schedule while we zip line, visited the animal park and then made our way to the beach to go snorkeling. We had some extra time so he was able to take us to the chocolate factory as well. We had a wonderful day and we appreciate all the great help from all the employees at Anderson tours… Highly recommended!
Anderson was very nice and friendly along with our driver William and boat captain Jerry. William went above and beyond and was very flexible with our options for the 3 part tour we booked. Overall was a great experience for our family of 4 with 2 kids 6 and 8. Definitely would recommend if you want some adventure on the island. Remember that local time is different than ship time typically at this port and that you need to clarify which time you are using when booking.
Our driver Bri was amazing. The zip-line crew was outstanding. The only thing that was subpar was the zoo tour the sloths were not ready available, and the space was overly crowded. We asked Bri what was the local dish which was and it was stewed iguana. She took us to try it and it was damn good too. After lunch we snorkeled. The water was refreshing and we saw lots of fish. The rum cakes were delicious and the Mayak chocolate rivals Lindor chocolate any day. Thank you for a wonderful visit to Roatan! And when you visit, schedule your tour with Anderson Tours and be sure to ask for Bri!
What a great experience for anyone visiting Roatan! The zip lining was so fun! Our tour guide, William, was so knowledgeable about the island and shared it with us. He went out of his way to stop and point out many things of interest that we didn’t know about. The chocolate tasting was delicious. And the snorkeling was AWESOME! We saw soooo much! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Roatan!
A terrific adventure. We started with the Online, where the guides were amazing, they taught us how to adventure zip line. Then we did the eco tour and our guide there was an amazing wealth of information about the sloths, monkeys and other animals. Then we did a chocolate stop and ended with a nice snorkel. It was great Leonardo was our driver. I recommend
