Description
If your a out-door person this the tour for you once you meet up with your tour representative out-side you ship dock or hotel lobby you will head over to Hamilton Ranch where you will meet your friendly horse once you receive your safety briefing you will hop on and make your way out on natural trail and out into the water. After your horseback ride you will make your way down to west bay to board your glass bottom for a under-water adventure you can make your way down bellow and grab a seat and waytch the marine wildlife swim by make sure you have your camera out. After your adventures you can visit the chocolate and rum factory or just head back to your ship or hotel.

Instruction meeting point after getting off your ship: There are two ship docks in Roatan. They are Mahogany Bay cruise port where Carnival Cruises, Princess Cruises, Holland America Cruises, Costa Cruises, and other ships dock. Then there are the Town Center Port of Roatan where Royal Caribbean cruises, celebrity Cruises, Norwegian Cruises, TUI Cruises and other ship dock. If your ship is dock on the Mahogany Bay Cruise port once, you walk off your ship walk up through the shopping area pass the water fountains up to the red top building on the right. It is the white taxis terminal it is a walking corridor at the end of the hall make a left on the pavement and walk up and over the hill through the big green gate. On the other side down the hill a representative will be there expecting you 1 to 2 hours after your ship arrival with a warm welcome and a smile on our faces ready to make your day a memorable one, look for Roatan Anderson Tours sign. If in a wheel chair or a scooter, you can get a taxi to bring you over the hill for an additional $2. NOTE: There will be local independent drivers and guide trying to sell you a tour just tell them you have book with us and they will leave you alone. After your excursion full of excitement, adrenaline and fun, we personally drive you back over the hill inside the gate. . If your ship is dock on the Town Center Port of Roatan, down in Coxen Hole once you walk off your ship it is much easier for you to find us. Just walk straight out pass all the shops then make a right. You will see lot of tour kiosk continue through the terminal making a small left straight out to the main street once exiting gate #3 look across the street for Roatan Anderson Tours sign a representative will be there waiting for you 1 to 2 hour after ships arrival. If you make friends on board or have any family member and they are not booked with us but want to tag along that is not a problem, we will accommodate them with you. Once outside and having trouble locating us just feel free to ask any the security guard or any other local tour associate for Shervin Hamilton or Roatan Anderson Tours sign or you can contact us by emailing info@roatanandersontours.com or dialing (504)97-24-1613 or (504)87-63-8692. If by any reason you decide to cancel your tour with us and didn’t had any internet on board or forget to email us back before your arrival to the island we will appreciates and be more than thankful if you can call us or send someone from your party to please inform us of your cancellation. The horseback riding was so fun; you get to ride into the Caribbean on your horse and get a picture, then another picture in front of the Roatan sign... we had such a good time. The glass bottom boat tour was cool! You are actually under the water looking out the windows at the reef, and see the fish and turtle. Well worth the time and money!!
I got a cancellation notice the day before my confirmed date for this tour on April 14. I attempted to rebook but your website stated no option available. I also got a text stating it required two people andi am a solo. I made other plans after this. Then on April 15 the TripAdvisor company sent a shuttle for me when the other company who I notice that TripAdvisor sent me. F had made alternative arrangements was coming for me . I showed the trip advisor shuttle person the notice of cancellation and refund for this tour which I made months before starting this vacation. VERY POOR COMMUNICATION for all parties involved!!! Will not use TripAdvisor in the near future
From the first they the booking came in i send you a text we needed 2 people to operate if we had get more guest doing the same tour you could had join wanst a problem but there wanst anyone else so we had to cancel and truly sorry about that wish i could take care of everyone but to operate i need 2 or more
Ron was a great driver and host. We really enjoyed the horseback riding and glass bottom boat. Even though the visibility was lower due to the rain, we saw tons of fish, coral, and scuba drivers. Our tour was private and Ron knew the best spots for photos.
Marvin took us everywhere we wanted to go, do and see--and told us the background and local knowledge that gave us a better feeling for Roatan. If/when we go back, we'd definitely look forward to using this service again. It takes all the indecision and headaches out of going someplace new and seeing the 'real' island instead of all the tourist-centered things.
Our Guide and driver was RON!!!! He really did an EXCELLENT job !!!!!!! We look forward to our next visit and the car was really NICE.

if you go by cruise DO NOT pay for their excursion package, they are way overpriced. there is plenty of taxi and shuttles at the port you can take for half the money the cruise line charges. we did it and had a blast. we talked with others back on the boat and they did the same thing and all had a good time. you can totally customize your adventure just the way you want and either stay longer at one place or shorter its totally up to you.
