We offer pick up from any local hotel/resort and vacation rental or cruise port. Travelers are also able to meet the catamaran at the marina located in Dixon Cove. We can provide maps/locationMeeting Location/Transport Information & Meeting Time: There are two Cruise Centers in Roatan. The directions for both locations are listed below. Please depart your ship one hour upon arrival to port and proceed to the designated meeting area listed below to check in with your representative. MAHOGANY BAY CRUISE TERMINAL & ISLA TROPICALE PORT: Exit the ship and walk up the main path into the shopping area. Continue past the fountains, through the shopping area, to the building with a red roof on the right. Enter that building and walk to the end where the white taxi's park. Make a left and walk up the hill. You will see a LARGE GREEN SECURITY gate. Go through the gate and down the hill. Your Detour Roatan Guide will be on the right with a Detour Roatan sign and your name & information. The Guide will check you in and take you to your shuttle. Your Roatan Adventure is about to begin! Enjoy your day! TOWN CENTER/PORT OF ROATAN & COXEN HOLE CRUISE TERMINAL: Exit the Ship and walk in to the main shopping area. Look for the EXCURSION KIOSK NUMBER 2 where tours & excursions are sold. This is the South Shore Adventures and Detour Roatan tour kiosk. Ask for our manager Cindy Fisher and staff for check in and boarding to your designated shuttles. Ticket bought through viator and paid in advance. The Viator ad was super generic. Jason didn't show uo. Luckily there was riom on another catamaran and someone was able to call jason abd ask him tongive our payment tonthe other boat so we could board the boat. Running around with my family in the heat and this was so disorganized.
We communicated with you through the entire process and we even had the catamaran wait for your group at Foster's West Bay because you were running late and wanted to join the cruise. We were notified once you checked in like all other bookings we had that day. You checked in with our staff and reps at the beach and boarded the boat like everyone else. Thank you!
We were disappointed. The tour is advertised as two stops, but the first “stop” was just a slow loop around Anthony’s Key Resort to view dolphins in open-water pens — there was no opportunity to disembark or even to stop, and none was offered. The second stop, which included snorkeling, was much better. The rum punches on board were watered down, and the food was limited to a single chicken kebab with a few chips and salsa (as advertised, but clearly low value). The music was repetitive and the crew were not very attentive. Note: the catamaran’s forward section is solid decking rather than a netted trampoline. It’s still a catamaran, but if you expected a front net to lounge on, it won’t be available.
The tour operator cancelled us yesterday and obviously Viator had no idea! They rescheduled us for tomorrow, but we are still trying to move other activities so that we can try to make it.
Your tour was cancelled because the boat did not reach the minimum amount of tickets sold for departure, as explicitly stated in the tour page for a public and shared tour option. We cancelled your tour accordingly and Viator processed your refund. I would say Viator is very much on top of things and organized as always.
Book this excursion! We had the whole catamaran to ourselves, great crew, great snacks and drinks. They took us to several snorkeling spots, and had us back to the port on time. It was a great day!!
Extremely enjoyable private catamaran excursion with 3 friendly crew members on a well maintained boat. Visited 2 snorkeling spots, with plenty of time to enjoy included drinks and snacks.
This is a fantastic option for your group. Having the entire boat to ourselves was great. The weather was perfect, seas calm and the two snorkeling spots were beautiful. The crew were friendly and provided everything we needed. Snacks and drinks were better than expected. I would do this tour again and again when in roatan.

The weather was horrible (heavy rain), got dark, we stopped only in ONE spot (for snorkeling) where there was really nothing to see ...
You folks got the standard public sunset cruise with the required 2 stops and amenities listed plus transportation. We can’t do anything about the rain during winter and our rainy season. It comes with the territory and we have to adapt with it. Happy new year! Thank you!
