We’ll pick you up directly from your cruise port in a private vehicle and take you to learn about the conservation efforts to protect sloths, monkeys, and scarlet macaws. Next, we’ll visit a chocolate factory to learn about the production process and sample a variety of chocolates. Afterward, we’ll stop by a rum factory to taste rum cakes and different rums. Your final destination will be West Bay, one of Roatán's most beautiful beaches with its white sand and crystal-clear water. Here, you can relax at the Henry Morgan Resort with a day pass and enjoy all its amenities, including a restaurant and bar if you wish to purchase food or drinks. This mix of activities is perfect for those looking for both fun and relaxation.

Once your cruise arrives at the port, our team will meet you right outside the port when you arrive in Coxen Hole or at Mahogany Bay. You will be picked up in a private car with your personal driver, ensuring a personalized and private service. From there, we will set off to begin your excursion for the day.

Enjoy Scenic Views and Delicious Tastes. Visit our rum factory located near West Bay, where you’ll enjoy stunning views on the way. At the factory, you’ll get free samples of our famous rum cakes and a variety of rums.
You will be given a wristband for access to a reserved beach chair, restrooms, and a fresh-water shower at one of our partner resorts on West Bay Beach. Here, you'll receive all the attention and comfort for your beach day. After enjoying your time on the beach, you'll be returned to your ship on time according to your ship's schedule.
Timely and Convenient Return to the Port After your tour, we’ll take you back to the port with plenty of time before your cruise departs. We’ll leave you inside the port and make sure everything is in order before saying goodbye. Our goal is to provide a smooth and worry-free return, so you can relax and enjoy your trip.

Meeting time is one hour after your ship docks. You may disembark earlier, and if you arrive late, our representatives will wait for you MEETING INSTRUCTIONS FOR PORT OF ROATAN, COXEN HOLE: After disembarking, enter the port and pass the shops and artificial rocks to your right. Turn right towards “Piraña Joe” and continue straight, turning right before the “Tucán Gift Shop.” Follow signs towards “Port Offices,” “Taxi,” and “Exit” to a covered pavilion with tour company stalls. Proceed straight through to security gate 1. We will be outside with a “ROATAN TUCAN ADVENTURES” sign. INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAHOGANY BAY CARNIVAL CRUISE PORT: Walk through the Shopping Center and exit via the Covered Gangway. Turn left on the road and walk uphill to the Security Gate. Walk down the small hill; our staff will be at the bottom with a “ROATAN TUCAN ADVENTURES” sign.

Our guide Kendrick was so much fun! He drove us around and showed us the sights. He told us about the island and we shared many laughs.

The meeting went smoothly Jamie was nice In the beginning I had to ask questions about the island but she eventually starred talking more. I have to say I have been in many excursions and this is the first one that didn’t offer water sounds simple but it’s the little details that matter. The beach was absolutely beautiful and Jamie was very sweet.
Ruth our guide was amazing. She knew so much about the area, the history, way of life and facts in Rotan. We all had so much fun with the animals and the grandkids are still talking about the Sloths. We are all still enjoying our chocolate. I hope we can go back again and we will be sure to ask for Ruth. The company is lucky to have her. She is a great tourism ambassador.
The monkeys and sloth exhibit were great. Chocolate factory underwhelming and beach riddled with vendors.
Mr. Allen was incredible!!! We had the best tour and day with him! Felt very safe and cared for! Loved how attentive he was and how he wanted to make our day special! Would hands down request Mr. Allen for any tour moving forward!
This was a great excursion. Our favorite part was the animal sanctuary. Helpful things to know: 1. When signing up, the form asks you what time you want to arrive and depart, but once submitted, they give you more info and you find out that pickup is an hour after whatever your ship’s docking time is, but they are flexible. 2. You have a private driver the entire time (no having to hang with strangers and you can leave excess stuff in the locked car). They can also stop along the drive for any photo ops or special requests. 3. Bring cash as you will want to purchase the tasty rum and chocolate and credit cards will have a fee. They also offer a nicely-priced massage at the resort. 4. The beach resort has a hot, sandy bathroom and an outdoor changing room with a curtain, but not a “resort quality” bathroom that is inside or way to use as a dressing room. The “shower” is a typical beach shower in the outdoors with no privacy. The food and drink is very expensive, so eating beforehand is a great idea. Your guide stays at the resort and waits for you so he was able to watch our stuff, but there is also security walking around. The pool is only chest high. There is plenty of seating and lounge chairs. 5. We had to walk a bit after getting off the ship as they are not allowed to park in the nearby parking, but in the afternoon they are able to drop you off directly at the port. All-in-all, this was a great tour and definitely more economical than the cost that the ship was charging.

We really enjoyed our excursion with Roatan Toucan Adventures!!! The Eco Park was very clean and the host there was very personable and friendly! Our tour guide Diana was truly a gem! She is very knowledgeable about the island, was so attentive and friendly, and I would definitely recommend her for anyone looking to book with your company.
We had such a fun day traveling around the island! The animal sanctuary was really fun, the kids and adults all enjoyed seeing the animals and a couple of the monkeys even jumped on our shoulders! The sloths were so super cute and although you can’t touch them, you can get really close for good pics. The facility was clean and everyone was helpful. The chocolate factory had a quick run down of their process and then we tried all the flavors and picked a few favorites to bring home. The rum distillery was nice even though we’re not big rum drinkers but the cake was delicious. Even if you don’t want to taste anything just head straight back to the porch for the view, it was stunning! The beach break at Morgan Henry was super fun and the water is pristine! Our favorite part has to be the personal tour guide that drove us around and waited for us at each place, it’s worth every penny to have this service, especially if you aren’t familiar with the area. Nathan was really kind and calm, we felt very safe with him the whole day and made a new friend. We were already making plans before we got back to port to come stay longer on the island. My husband is currently looking at airbnbs! This was definitely our favorite day of the cruise we were on! I hesitated buying this tour until a week prior even though I have been looking at them for months. Don’t wait, just book it! Your future self will thank you!
