Itinerary
You will arrive at Corcovado Station and ride to the base of the Christ the Redeemer statue by train. Relax on the 20-minute ride through the Tijuca Forest, and get a preview of the wonderful landscape that awaits you.
You will meet and greet the main monument of Brazil and marvel at the 710-meter statue of Christ with his arms outstretched. Enjoy unparalleled views of the city and surrounding countryside from Rio de Janeiro's most strategic viewpoint.
You will have an external view of the Maracanã Stadium, Mario Filho (which staged two World Cups and one Olympic Games). Entry admission not included. On event days on the stadium the stop might not be allowed by traffic authorities.
You will see the famous parade area of Rio's carnival.
You will observe the impressive and unusual architecture of Rio's cathedral, inspired by the Mayan pyramids.
You will visit the brightly-colored Selarón Steps in Lapa, one of the most visited landmarks in Rio de Janeiro. It contains tiles from +60 countries of the world.
Lunch time available (meal not included).
Take the first cable car ride to Urca Hill and wait for the second one to Sugarloaf Mountain.
You will board a series of 2 cable cars to the top of Urca Hill and Sugarloaf Mounatin, where you will be rewarded with the most beautiful panoramic views of the city.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the warm and clear explanations provided by our guide, Luciana, who was attentive to everyone at all times. Our driver, Xandao, was very considerate, helpful, and patient throughout the various journeys, allowing us to see many of the city's tourist attractions with excellent time management, clarity, and a deep knowledge of the history and modernity of each place. In addition, Luciana is multilingual and speaks fluently.

Host was ok. But at each stop I didn’t feel we were properly gathered to join the bus and the way time was given at each stop was confusing at least for Spanish speakers. Host called us after leaving us behind and told us to go to the next step on Uber to try to re join the Trip but it wasn’t possible. Considering that and the cost of the trip (I spent about $500 in total) it was def not worth and I felt I lost my money.

The trip in general was a genius, the teammates were also influence of having had such a good time due to their punctuality in the meeting points, but apart from that, I want to highlight the guide. My guide was Alberto, and I really can’t be more satisfied with who played me as a guide. A gentleman attentive, polite, friendly, funny... I am not really a fan of tours or being called a tourist, I like to go on my own adventure; but if Alberto were my guide on all excursions, I would put that thought aside and love to tour. When he dropped us off at the Royalty Hotel, he gave me a hug and a shake of hands that was beyond warm. I leave this trip, not only with the experience of a wonderful day with a spectacular lunch, but also with the memory of having met a guide as suitable and wonderful as Alberto, and of having met such friendly companions as those who touched me. I am more than happy and grateful for this experience that the C2Rio Tours provided me, and with great affection I will remember the laughter that brought me this visit. Good tour to know in one day the top 3. We did the tour with my children, ages 8, 3 and 1, and Karla Belem was always watching to help and get priority access.
