That will be easy walking tour with a general information and legends - Town Hall square, St.Peters Church, "Tree brothers", Black Heads house, "Cats house" and others.
We go there by van and will make a stop for a short walk to see splendid building built in the beginning of XX century when Art Nouveau was trendy. These buildings are reason why Riga sometimes is called "Small Paris". That part of Riga is also connected with a Riga Jewish history.
Historically called "Moscow forstadt" with the witnesses (buildings, squares and streets) of 19 century and Soviet times (Academy of Sciences). For example so called "Stalin's Ampire style" or wooden living houses of 10th century.
Riga Central market needs a time for a visit, but with the guide You will more easy fined the eatable souvenirs and local food products. There are some specific hided in the corners.

We walked all around the Old Town. Armands was a great guide, answering all our questions across a range of subjects and responding to our interests. Then into the car for a tour of the Art Nouveau quarter, before finishing in the Food Market. One-on-one attention.

thanks to Armands and his enthusiastic commentary we saw and admired by foot the old town and art nouveau district. in his car we got a good overview, and walked through the amazing Central Market. He also recommended our two dinner restaurants: Peterkaili and Gutenberg, nice food and lovely interiors. if you have limited time to see Riga, take this trip!
