We enjoyed this city tour, with first hand history and perspective from Domas, our local tour guide. Helped us understand more about the Baltic’s and specifically Lithuania.
Weather wasn’t great but tour was excellent. Flat and rode for about 12 miles with headset. Lots of great informatiion
This was an excellent bike tour by Frank at bicycletours.lv. Frank, who is Dutch and a Riga resident, had a great perspective on life in the city and its complex history. We especially enjoyed his insights into Latvia’s support of Ukraine and its satisfying needling of Putin. Because we were on bikes, we were able to travel the city widely, even across the river. We booked ebikes, which we enjoyed and seemed to make the cobblestones easier as we moved at a good pace (tho regular bikes are fine, we are older and love them). We saw neighborhoods we never would have visited without this well-designed tour. Frank was kind enough to tell us that the tour can run a bit longer than advertised and asked us if we had time constraints. The four of us on the tour were very happy that the experience lasted an extra half hour. Well done!
Guide wasn't there Cancelled on site!...................................................................................
Super nice bike, really pleasant to ride! Tomass was an exceptional guide, fluent in English and very knowledgeable. Thank you for this beautiful experience!
Very worthwhile tour of Riga with Inga, a local Guidin. It was very interesting information about the past and present of the city.
Fantastic guide (Thomas), good tour, really enjoyed this! Interesting info, highly recommended! Got to know Riga from a different angle!
Our guide, Inga, was very nice and knowledgeable. She showed us some spots that most tourists would not see, because the are just a little outside the city centre. Cycling in Riga felt very safe. Cycling is allowed on the wide sidewalks and cars are careful and polite towards cyclists.
A good tour to get a look at Riga from outside the Old Town. It included a break at a local market for refreshments. Guide was good in explaining the significance of the areas we visited.
Great informative tour with Inga. Her knowledge on past and present Riga was great. Whilst we only had a small group of 6 , she made sure everyone was together and safe. The inclement weather did not deter anyone with ponchos provided for everyone, which in the end were not needed.
