The lighthouse of Maspalomas is the souther most point of the island of Gran Canaria and has been declared by the Canary Government monument of historical interest. Every day from 10.30 to 17.00 it is possible to visit the ethnographic museum located inside the lighthouse of Maspalomas.
The dunes of Maspalomas are the true treasure of Gran Canaria, which is about 7 kilometres of golden Sand Mountains declared a special nature reserve and is protected by the Canary Islands Government.
A small volcanic beach with crystal clear water and blue flag. It is located at the end of the Meloneras promenade which is the most luxurious area of the south of the island.
The only botanical garden in the south of the island with free admission (closed Saturday and Sunday). Here you will learn to know and distinguish the tropical plants of the archipelago.
This ancient archaeological site is located right on the Meloners promenade. Visiting this amazing archaeological site will give you the opportunity to see the ancient circular stone houses where the Guanches lived, the primitive civilization lived in the Canary islands in the pre-hispanic era.
"La Charca" is a beautiful lagoon bordering the famous dunes of Maspalomas. This lagoon is considered the most important natural area of the special nature reserve as it is rich in fish and about 40 different types of migratory birds live in different seasons of the year.
Costa Canaria Promenade is a beautiful cycle path elevated above the sea. Along this promenade you will enjoy the best panoramic view of the Maspalomas Dunese and the Atlantic Ocean.
Playa del ingles is considered the most famous and most tourist beach in the south of Gran Canaria. Here you will find bars, restaurants and ice cream parlors where you can stop for a break and enjoy a cold drink, local ice cream with tropical fruits or try the famous Paella or Tapas.
Playa de San Agustin is a beautiful volcanic beach with black sand and is connected to Playa del Ingles by a fantastic panoramic promenade. This large volcanic beach and very little touristy but very popular with lovers of water sports such as surfing and windsurfing.

Three days rented a bike with his 2s. Convenient to see the sights in Maspalonas and move around the city. Walking is just too far apart. Great shop, nice and helpful people.
Go at the right time to take the bikes to do the routes indicated by the operator on a map and enjoy the ride. Carry water, cap or hat. The sunset tour of the oasis is wonderful.
Great service, we rented a city bikes for our family, the rental included good guidance with map. Also rental for a car was easy to apply through this company. Gracias!
The guys were friendly and checked the bikes over and we rode them a very short distance to see they were adjusted properly. We hired helmets. They were extremely helpful and gave us directions and a map of nearby places which were all worth a visit. As they were closed on Saturday, they let us collect the bikes Friday evening and we returned them Sunday evening. Superb value for money. We think we have explored all Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas!
