Rent Car With Driver

From first arriving at the RIU Sri Lanka we were met by management and reception staff who were impeccable, as we had already booked in on the App, reception informed us that our booking had been upgraded as we are diamond members and gave us room 5089 with great sea views. All the staff were very good, however special mentions to Nadee on reception and for helping us with our restaurant reservations, Rangana and his team who do amazing work with all the towel art and keeping our room spotlessly clean throughout our two week stay and to Prasanna and the guy's for keeping us refreshed in the Purple Bar at night. Just a word about going out and about whilst on holiday here, we found that the guy's at the front of the hotel (road side) were the most cost effective and best for trips out. We went with Kandu, travelling both in his tuk tuk (£10 to Bentota shopping, Elephant and Bhuddist Temples etc.) and also £10 to Ambalangoda shopping accompanied by Kandu to help with the bartering when required. As well as a full day out by car £75 to Galle, Ritipanna (Stilt fishermen), Tsunami memorial, Hikkaduwa marine national park and lots of other interesting stops. Kandu speaks very good English and will accept £ $ Euros and Sri Lankan Rupees. He was punctual, knowledgeable and very courteous at all times with us. We contacted Kandu by WhatsApp (0094 77 686 8706) and he was only too pleased to help us sort out our plans as we required. Thanks Kandu highly recommend this guy! And finally, thank you EVERYONE at RIU Sri Lanka for a wonderful holiday!

Sri Lanka was amazing but service provided by Samir was beyond amazing, it definitely will pull us for our second trip very courteous and helpful and also speaks English. I would definitely recommend him for everyone planning to visit Sri Lanka.

Went with Suduhansa Tours from 29 December to 2nd January, 5 day package from Colombo airport, touring Bentota, Galle, Kandy and Colombo city over 5 days. Our driver was always on time and very polite and friendly. He is also very knowledgeable about local tourist spots as a guide. He listened to all our requests and was very accommodating of our plans. We felt safe with them. Car was very neat and clean as well. Overall would recommend going on a long tour of Sri Lanka with him.
