This tour was certainly the highlight of our Colorado experience and I almost didn't book it as I had issues going through Viator here to book and ended up having to call them directly. Jim was our guide and was a wonderful one! He arrived with plenty of snacks and water. Loved the variety of beef jerky. I also like that he checked before hand to ensure we had no allergies. Pickup was right on time from our hotel and we had fun at the train ride and exploring the mine (dress comfy its cold down there!). We also visited Idaho Springs where we had lunch and Jim was so flexible with stopping and letting us take pictures and pointing out historical sites, sharing stories and points of interest. St Mary's Glacier was spectacular and was quite the hike but worth it once you get to the top. Red Rocks was also great to see but with The Morning Jacket scheduled to perform we didnt get a chance to go in as the gates were closed. Still, Jim managed to get around that and we were able to get some great pictures! He has a way with kids and bonded with our son who kept asking him if he was joining on each part of the tour. A former photographer, he also took a few pictures for us which we loved and will frame. When we are next in Denver we will certainly book another tour with Jim Becker / Luxury Rides as we had a great time!
