It was amazing. I’m pleased chose Varanasi as part of my itinerary. Sunset by boat and a chance to say goodbye to loved one lost by putting lighted candles on the water and watch them drift away. So peaceful , so calming . Hint : December is cold bring a warm jacket, suitable clothing and footwear. Make sure you have camera that can take photos as well as videos. Night shot function is also ideal. Book a guided tour so you will learn why the river Ganges is sacred.
