Highlight of Calabria, seeing the bronze statues was really very impressive
We enter this museum (cheap!) for the impressive Riace bronzes, of breathtaking beauty, but do not leave aside everything else on display, a treat due to the diversity and beauty of the pieces on display.
The guide unilaterally changed the time and start location without adequate communication. Eventually he/she was a no show. Fortunately this world class museum has an outstanding portable audio guide. Do not miss an opportunity to visit! Be aware that advanced reservations are recommended for nearby upscale evening dining.
