Itinerary
Red Rocks Amphitheatre is an open-air amphitheatre built into a rock structure near Morrison, Colorado, 10 miles (16 km) west of Denver. There is a large, tilted, disc-shaped rock behind the stage, a huge vertical rock angled outwards from stage right, several large outcrops angled outwards from stage left and a seating area for up to 9,525 people in between. The Amphitheater has a long history of offering a variety of music venues to visitors of all ages. Red Rocks Amphitheatre access may occasionally be limited due to concerts, rehearsals, film shoots, or other public and private events. When access restrictions occur, your guide will showcase other scenic and historic points of interest within Red Rocks Park and make every effort to provide the best possible experience.
Evergreen’s historic Main Street, bordered between a pink cliff wall of boulders and the rapidly flowing mountain waters of Bear Creek is compact, but full of irresistible fine arts, crafts and gifts worthy of any home, as well as bistros, coffee shops, boutiques, specialty shopping, and live music.
Nature lovers can always gain access to a pristine and breathtaking encounter with nature when going on a tour of Evergreen Lake. It offers stunning views that soothe the senses and invigorate the body with fresh air.
Buffalo Bill Cody remains the ultimate Old West icon. One of his final wishes was to be buried on Lookout Mountain above Denver, and his grave site at Lookout Mountain Park is free to visit. As part of the Denver Mountain Parks system, the park offers an engaging museum dedicated to the life and times of Buffalo Bill and his internationally known Wild West show.
A 40-mile stretch in the foothills west of Denver, Colorado, the Lariat Loop connects the communities of Golden, Morrison, Lookout Mountain and Evergreen, and features some of the area’s best historical and cultural attractions, not to mention spectacular mountain views and wildlife viewing opportunities.
Golden is a city and former gold rush town at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, in Colorado.
Pass by the Coors Brewery in Golden, Colorado, that is the largest single brewery facility in the world.

Parker was fun, knowledgeable, and a good driver through the mountains. ;) It's a great tour that packs in a nice variety in a half day experience. Definitely worth it.
A great half-day excursion to an iconic venue! I only wish I had been able to attend a concert there!
The tour gave us an appreciation of Colorado’s beauty. Our guide Parker has a vast knowledge of this beautiful state, including lots of geological and dinosaur facts (we never grew tired of these!). We learned so much from him.
Overall good experience. Meetup was easy to find. We arrived 30 minutes early and the Tour vans arrived shortly after. We left on time. The van was full, twelve people and it was a pretty tight squeeze. We ended up in the back of the van which is not a big deal except there was not good airflow from one of the vents. As we drove to our first destination, our guide David gave interesting facts about Denver and pointed out different things along the way. Red Rocks was our first stop and we had approximately one hour here. We found scenic hiking trails that we would have loved to have gone on but because of time these were not an option, so we just walked around the general area surrounding the amphitheater. Our next stop was supposed to be Evergreen Lake but we didn’t stop. We went to the third stop instead - a lookout on top of the mountain where Buffalo Bill’s burial site is located. Beautiful views from this point. There were also trails here but we only had about 20 minutes here. It was heating up and I wasn’t getting enough air in the back, so I ended up getting very carsick on the way up the winding roads. Thank God one of the ladies on our tour had Dramamine and gave it to me. I also switched places with my husband on the van and the the tour guide put the air on high on the next leg of the trip ( This info is mainly to tell anyone who gets carsick to sit in the front of the van). The last stop was in Golden. Nice little town with lots of shops and a river that many were tubing down. We were given about 25 minutes to walk around here. Got some tea from one of the shops to sip on and the Dramamine had finally kicked in so I was able to enjoy the ride back to our meeting place. David had plenty of interesting information to share that made the trip worthwhile. Even though I got carsick for a short part of the trip, I truly enjoyed the experience and would recommend to anyone who wants to take a scenic ride and hear all about the history of the Denver area.
Great half day trip from Denver and seeing the Red Rocks Amphitheater is a must! Our guide Parker was very personable and knowledgeable. He made the trip a great experience!
Blair was super accommodating ! Parker’s first solo tour was awesome ! We highly recommend this tour. The Red Rock Amphitheater is an amazing venue.
The tour was super fun even though it was a little rainy. Not having much time to explore, this tour gave us an opportunity to visit the mountains and learn about Denver and Red Rocks area. Our guide Parker was amazing, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. We were luck to have him as our guide.
Wonderful variety of areas/things to see in a 4 hr period. Parker was very knowledgeable and you can tell he truly enjoys the state he lives in and the beauty it provides. I enjoyed how he tied so many different subjects together. And he was incredibly gracious when one guest had a hiccup with her Uber driver that delayed her just a bit. He waited for her. I goofed on our meet up spot at one point and he was so kind instead of making me feel bad. I ran and made it without much delay. Parker has a great upbeat personality and does an excellent job engaging with guests as well as using van time to share interesting information about the area. I was very impressed with how much he knows about so many things relative to our tour and beyond. Very interesting guy! I'd definetly recommend your tours and esp touring with Parker. Fun guy! This tour was very cool. Getting to see the Red Rocks, especially the Amphitheater, was something I am glad I got to experience. Our tour guide, Robert, was great at telling stories, and giving us different facts about the area and what we were seeing. He was very personable and I think everyone enjoyed him.
I had half a day to see some sights after a business trip before flying home. It was a seamless fun experience and gave me the chance to see some amazing sights in a short time span. Eric was a great guide, very knowledgeable and made it very fun as well.
