Be prepared for a long drive but totally worth it if you like history and want to learn more about the Buddhist culture in Sri Lanka! Chami was an excellent and knowledgable driver and made some additional fun stops along the way so we could learn more. Anuradhapura was really hot so I recommend bringing a water bottle to help make the tour more enjoyable!
