This will allow stories to be told from the perspective of the actual historical figure, creating a wildly immersive experience like nothing else out there. See, hear and feel their personal story in their own voice... It's like stepping into the past. What's a Triangle Adventures tour like? Ride through town and on the smooth NC Greenway trail with fun and interesting stops along the way. Expect to learn about local heroes, NASCAR origins, moonshining, native tribes, Neuse River, milling towns, play alcohol trivia, and lots more! Plus, authentic street tacos and fresh-squeezed margaritas are included! ** Non-alcoholic and vegetarian substitutions available. ** Enjoy the outdoors, laugh and make memories! Itinerary
You’ll meet your experienced guides, have a brief safety meeting, and do some quick orientation rides to make sure everyone feels comfortable on the bikes. Once we embark as a group, we will do a bit of scenic riding through Clayton, then stop at one of our favorite local Mexican Restaurants for lunch. Afterwards, we will enter the Mountains to Sea Trail, where we will have an exhilarating e- bike ride. During this time, your guide will have some interesting facts about local history and information about culinary facts, native culture, and more. We will eventually come full circle back to Deep River Brewery where you will have a beer waiting for you – courtesy of Triangle Adventures. There will also be several stops for photo ops and bathroom breaks.

What a fantastic experience from beginning to end! This husband-and-wife team has created an outing that’s equal parts adventure, history, and great food. The e-bikes are easy to ride, making this tour enjoyable for everyone, whether you want a leisurely cruise or prefer to pick up the pace. The guides are friendly, knowledgeable, and make sure everyone feels comfortable while sharing interesting stories and local history along the way. We also enjoyed some incredible tacos and a delicious margarita, which was the perfect ending to an already memorable day. If you’re looking for something unique to do, this is it. It’s fun, relaxing, informative, and suitable for all skill levels. I had an amazing time and would absolutely do it again. Highly recommended!
Our team recently took the Burgers, Cocktails, and History Tour with Triangle Adventures, and it exceeded expectations from start to finish. We spent about four hours exploring Clayton by e-bike, stopping at local businesses while also learning about the town's history and growth along the way. Dave and Marlo were exceptional guides. They are incredibly knowledgeable about the area, but what stood out most was how friendly, welcoming, and passionate they were. Every stop felt purposeful, and the historical stories and local insights added so much to the experience. Half of our group had never ridden an e-bike before, and everyone picked it up quickly. One of the things I appreciated most is that you can make the ride as easy or as active as you want. The pedal assist does most of the work if you'd like, but you can also choose to pedal more and get a workout. If you enjoy riding a standard bicycle, you'll likely enjoy this experience. The atmosphere was relaxed, fun, and conversational, and our group of six never felt rushed. This experience would be great for anyone looking for a unique way to explore the area. I would absolutely recommend Triangle Adventures and would book another tour without hesitation.

I participated in a tour with a group of friends. Dave and Marlo were easy to work with. You can tell they really love history and their town.They introduced us to the e-bikes and helped us to feel comfortable with them. They stopped frequently so no one was left behind along the way.The tacos and Margaritas were delicious. It was fun to learn the history of the area. I am looking forward to trying the ghost tour soon!

It was an absolute blast! The tour guides Dave and Marlo are passionate about their business, knowledgeable and are super fun! All the stops were interesting and full of history. The tacos were a nice and delicious touch to the tour as well. The best part is the ride on the greenway above the Neuse! I highly recommend and would love to do more of their tours.

Support this local business! You won't be sorry! Dave and Marlo are excellent tour guides. The information about Clayton, MC history was very interesting. The ride and scenery was beautiful. The taco stop was very authentic and the speakeasy Margaritas were delicious! The ebikes were very nice, easy to use and comfortable. Dave and Marlo give great instructions before ride starts.
