Difficult terrain for older people. Will get wet. The experience was fun overall. The tour guides are very helpful.

Five of us were on a girls trip and this was our favorite excursion out of the 3 we scheduled. We had so much fun and they made it very enjoyable for everyone in the group. We loved that it is a family business and they work together very well by giving instructions or directions, assisting while climbing, encouragement to jump and just made it a fun experience. Come prepared with the correct shoes to climb, get muddy & dirty and do a bit of hiking. After the excursion, they took us to a local spot for lunch and it was amazing. They are truly knowledgeable, friendly, funny and a great family to hang with for a few hours.

We did the Rainforest Cave Tubing & Waterfalls Hiking Adventure with my daughter, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law, and it turned out to be a highlight of our trip. I'll admit I was a little apprehensive going in; you never quite know what you're signing up for, but the moment we met Abel, everything fell into place. Abel is the owner, and he personally took us out. You can tell he genuinely enjoys sharing this with his guests. He's serious about safety; it was clearly his number one concern, but he also knows how to joke around and keep things fun and relaxed. That balance made the whole day feel easy. He also had three other team members along who helped keep the group together and looked out for anyone who needed a hand, so we always felt taken care of. The waterfall was the standout for me. The water was cool and refreshing, and it's the part that's stuck with me since. There's some physical activity involved with the hiking and climbing, but it's manageable, and Abel works with everyone's pace, so don't let that scare you off. One bonus tip: afterward, Abel pointed us to Papo Guacaro's Place, right by the shopping center where we met up. Authentic Puerto Rican food, very reasonably priced. If you're looking for real local cooking, eat there. I'd recommend this adventure to my own friends and family without hesitation. Thank you, Abel!

So glad we picked this tour. It was so fun, the company who runs the tour is a family and they treat everyone on the tour like family as well! We did a few jumps into the river along the way and went through two caves. Along the way we did a bit of hiking to waterfalls and another cave. A good water shoe, like a $20 Amazon water shoe is sufficient for this tour. Personally, I wouldn’t wear tennis shoes, they would be heavy since you spend the most of your time in the water. I wore athletic clothes (shorts and a tank top). After the tour, we stopped at a local restaurant for lunch which was amazing! Our uber driver back to OSJ was confused how we found out about the restaurants I would definitely do this tour again if I come back to PR. Highly recommend it if you are looking to explore charco azul!

This cave tubing experience was a 1000/10! I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting. The host and entire staff were amazing from start to finish. They kept the energy high the whole time, had us laughing throughout the tour, and shared so much interesting information about the island and its history. What I really loved was that the experience is perfect for everyone. Whether you're a beginner, someone who doesn't enjoy very extreme activities, or an adventure lover looking for something fun, this tour strikes the perfect balance. It was exciting, relaxing, and unforgettable all at the same time. I had an incredible time and would absolutely do it again. If you're thinking about booking it, don't hesitate—you won't regret it!
