Rafting experience on the Rio de las Vueltas in Patagonia

Enjoy the southernmost rafting in Patagonia Argentina. An activity that mixes adventure, emotion and adrenaline. The Rio de las Vueltas offers an ideal setting for this activity. In its first section, the calm waters of the river allow us to connect with nature and contemplate the beauty of the landscape framed by the imposing Cerro Fitz Roy and its satellite needles, in addition to eventually being able to see local fauna and birds. After having covered approximately 5 kms we cross the first rapid, which the guides call "Portage", after that first rapid begins a succession of rapids of approximately 10 kms, which will cause a lot of adrenaline, fun and will give you the right dose of adventure to an experience that will awaken all your senses and will make you experience Patagonia from a completely different perspective.

Trip was cancelled due to low water levels. Not something that the operator can do much about but what was annoying is that we did not find out until we arrived for our booking. Supposedly they had been trying to contact me by WhatsApp but they seem to be the only operator that I have used that have a problem with this. If we’d have known before we could have reorganised our day.
Hi Mark, we're sorry you're upset, but we work in reservations and operations. The guides report the weather conditions for each outing every morning. That day they reported that the river was very low and it was windy. We don't cancel until the guides report to us; only then do we contact the participants, who are always in multiple bookings. Perhaps we didn't get in touch and you still arrived at the site. We apologize. But the rating is quite unfair. Thank you!
This was an exhilarating 17 km run of rapids, with relaxing and interesting canyon formations in between rapids. Lolito and his crew were engaging and lots of fun! We were grinning and reminiscing long after the excursion! Highly recommend!
We had a great experience with Mateo and his team! So fun to hear about his family and he was an expert at rafting. Felt safe the entire time. Must do when in el Chalten!

Great experience - really pretty landscape to do it in. We saw loads of guanacos. Team who ran it were fun. Responded to emails about the booking quickly. Overall would recommend.
Incredible experience rafting on the rio de las vueltas. The guides were professional and highly skilled. They provided all the necessary equipment to keep us warm. They also brought good jovial energy to make the journey fun and explained the different landmarks as we navigated down the valley. We saw the fitz roy from the river as well as condors soaring in the skies! They also give you photos and videos after the trip. I think this makes a good introduction to rafting if it is your first time.
It was really great! The organization was really perfect. Good safe clothing. An environment that makes you quiet, so beautiful! A good cooperation between raft and kayak. Great transport.

What a wonderful experience, organised by a very professional team. They had all the gear that was required to keep you both warm and safe , top quality stuff as well (Mares). From the moment we started to get changed into the rafting gear I knew the day was going to be special. I am not an experienced rafter but have rafted in allot of the big named places (Zambezi, Colorado River, Nepal, Costa Rica, Tully River Australia) and the scenery on the Rio de las Vueltas was equal to any of it.
