Angel Rea was prompt collecting us from the airport and driving us to our hotel in old town Quito. The following day we were taken on a private guided tour of Quito. Angel’s knowledge of the country’s history and culture of Equador and Quito itself was excellent. Important features of historic buildings and streets were carefully explained in impeccable English. His driving was very safe as he navigated through heavy traffic to more remote sites. His advice on good restaurants to eat was also invaluable. I would strongly recommend him as a guide. He was flexible, timeous, and very careful to ensure our personal safety during the very hectic and delightful marching parades in the city. He was willing to go above and beyond to ensure our enjoyment of his interesting city.
