We had a great tour of Nara Park with Yu! He was very informative, took us to some quieter spots, and was very knowledgeable about the area. After the tour Yu even helped us get a lunch reservation at a local Resturant. He had lots of local (and Kyoto) recommendations. Great experience overall!
We met Yu at the agreed meeting point, and from the first interaction it was clear this was going to be a great experience, with his friendly and welcoming vibe and high energy being very apparent. He took us on a casual stroll through the Nara area, explaining its history and relevance to the Japanese history, and giving us plenty of time to explore along the way. He showed us a few hidden gems along with the key hotspots, and his English was perfect. He provided plenty of opportunities for photos and even took some of his own, which we are looking forward to receiving. A must do in Nara to give you the background on the area and a perfect way to spend our last day in Japan.
