Wear purple and be prepared for omg….. nastiness! Prince yes, was nasty sometimes but then that’s Prince! This guy was almost dirty MD is/was always always amazing!!!!!
Great performance, fun and engaging! The crowd was on their feet, singing along and the band gave a fantastic performance.
The doors to enter into the show didn’t open until 8:50 and the show didn’t start until after 9:00 pm . It suppose had been at 8:30. The music was too loud for the theater . Over rode the voices
We unfortunately never had the chance to see Prince perform but we can still enjoy a live (tribute) experience by going to see Purple Reign at Planet Hollywood. The band is truly incredible with their high energy and costumes. Jason Tenner can really reach those notes that made Prince so famous the band does sometimes very from the recordings which to me honors Prince instead of imitating him; although Jason does a fantastic job doing that too. If you love Prince you have to see this show. We usually make a half day of it by shopping at the Miricle Mile, having dinner then going to the show. The band is simply Outstanding! You won't be disappointed! Special Note: The Time performers are also Fantastic and have you on your feet!
We had such a great time. Everyone was so talented and had such energy. Great variety of Prince songs.
Sounded nothing like Prince. Very disappointed. Made several comments about how he already had our money and felt more like a strip tease show than a Prince Tribute with the half naked girls...at least they were hot and entertaining
Entertaining. The only thing that seemed strange to me was that they did not allow recording videos of the concert. But at the same time, the singer asks you to recommend him on social media.
By far, and excellent experience with superior talent!! We really enjoyed the cast bringing their own style to the well-known story of Prince and Morris Day! The musicians were outstanding! After the show, we went back to our room and watched the movie!! By far, a very respectful tribute to one of the most outstanding artists of our time!!
Started not too bad but went down hill rapidly. He couldn’t sing the songs and didn’t look interested tbh, also boasted he already had our money. The show relied on scantily clad dancers for appeal. There wasn’t much of a crowd either, word had definitely got around. We left half way through, what a complete waste of time and money.
It was ok The performer did not connect with the audience and seemed annoyed at times. Said it was going to be a long night after the second song! But then said he would take your money anyway (said that twice!) like what is that? He said if you give a bad review you are a hater. Yet the show started a half hour late and was only 1 hour and 10 minutes long. The Morris Day and The Time were very good and had more energy and dynamics than Prince. The band and dancers were very good. The guy playing Prince could not muster the energy of Prince nor could he dance or hit the notes. I really was hoping it was going to be a better show. I am a huge Prince fan. This show had no frills or special lighting. The flyer advertised “Vanity 6” was also performing and there was none of that. Not a huge production at all. Kind of basic like you would see anywhere. I expected more in Vegas. If you can get cheaper seats like I did that is the only way I would recommend going.
