Monument of great importance for our region since it is in tribute to the crew of this schooner who in 1843 takes possession of the Strait of Magellan for the state of Chile.
In this museum we can observe 4 replicas in real size of the 4 most important ships for the history of our region. As are Nao Victoria, Goleta Ancud, HMS Beagle and James Caird.
Important monument that shows the importance of livestock for our region.
You will be able to appreciate in the middle of the square the monument to Hernando de Magallanes who discovered the strait that bears his name in 1520. They will also visit the surroundings of the square and its most emblematic and important buildings in the history of our city.
