La Caldera - 30 minutes The La Caldera Recreational Area is located in the highlands of La Orotava, just beyond the Aguamansa neighborhood. It is one of the most comprehensive recreational areas in the north of Tenerife, attracting a large number of visitors year-round. La Caldera offers several amenities, including parking, a bar-restaurant, a large playground, public restrooms (without showers), barbecue grills, tables, and a camping area. This recreational area is the starting point for numerous trails in the surrounding area. Altitude: 1,000 meters.
It runs along the Siete Cañadas Trail, a section of the historic Camino Real de Chasna, which once connected the regions on the southern slope of the island with the Orotava Valley in the north. It is a flat path with few climbs or descents that runs along a large section of the inner wall of the Circo de las Cañadas, between the sharp escarpments and badlands of the most recent eruptions, through the multiple sedimentary plains or cañadas that give the trail its name. An extensive route that, along its 16 kilometers, will offer us volcanic landscapes of great beauty and geological interest, enhanced by the colorfoul endemic flora (especially in spring) and adorned by the omnipresent Teide volcano.
1 Hour – Mount Teide This short tour puts you face-to-face with one of the most spectacular sights in the Canary Islands: Mount Teide, Spain’s highest peak and the heart of Teide National Park. Right at the Base of a Giant You’ll stand at the foot of this ancient volcano, surrounded by a surreal landscape shaped by centuries of eruptions. From this vantage point, you can fully appreciate the 3,715-meter (12,188 ft) height of Teide towering above you—it's like looking up at another planet. Lava Fields & Moonlike Terrain The ground under your feet is made up of frozen lava flows, strange rock formations, and vibrant volcanic colours perfect for photography or just soaking in the view. Bad weather, for the time of year very much cloud and 2 days storm at sea. Not worth repeating. La Gomera was beautiful but would have been much more pleasant with some sun. The Teide was highly recommended, very nice trip.

We had an amazing trip. It was organised very well and it was really beautyfull. Also the tourguides were very enthusiastic.
The views were amazing, great opportunities to take some beautiful photos. Photos taken by staff are very good and well worth the €25 extra.
We had the best time! Highly recommend this, really friendly guides, jacket, goggles and gloves provided along with a really yummy snack and water to watch the sunset, the most amazing views we’ve ever seen. Thanks so much and would definitely do this again!!
Refusal of refund even though It was cancelled due to a road closure then told to go on a quad instead which I didn’t want to do then told later I had to share a quad which I also didn’t want to do just a disaster from start to finish. Crucial information isn’t clearly stated either.
Booked a buggy tour was called and told I couldn’t do it due to a road closure and was then booked on a quad tour by the male who called even though I was reluctant and wasnt explained the process. Wasn’t told I had to share a quad which I wouldn’t want to do and that we’d both need a physical driving license with us. Disappointing to say the least and now they are refusing refund even though I wasn’t given the opportunity to do the buggy tour or properly explained what was needed.
