We did several tours with Costa Rica One on One during our trip to the Guanacaste region in June 2026. We met Tony Martin, the sales guy outside of our resort. We discussed the various things we wanted to do, and he arranged everything over the next 3 days. I shopped around a couple other places, and his rates were very reasonable. Snorkeling with Sunny and Ray was great. We saw a bunch of turtles despite the gray weather. The kids loved jet skiing with Eddie and Aten. We visited a beach where we encountered monkeys and then traveled down the river where crocodiles were. But the best part were the bigger tour days. We were matched with Manny and his alter ego Vivian, who made sure our trips were safe and special. We visited waterfalls and hot springs, jungle watching, zip lines and water slide. We tasted local food, coffee/cacao/sugar farm and made impromptu stops for mangoes and owls. In addition to being a great tour guide, Manny is also a great photographer. He helped us get pictures that we would otherwise have missed. And Sunny joined us on one of the days, making it even more fun. Nothing ends a long day in the jungle like karaoke in a van singing Michael Jackson hits. Manny also made recommendations for great places to eat, which is something the hotel staff wasn’t much help with. Overall, a fabulous experience. I’m glad we found Tony and let him coordinate everything. Highly recommend and will reach out to them next time I'm in CR. Pura vida!
Me and my bestfriend went to Costa Rica for my 40th birthday and we had the best experience because we had the best tour guide Name Manuel. He made sure our time in Costa Rica was safe and fun. He took us to the rainforest , ziplining ,coffee plantation tour, hot water springs, horseback riding etc i can go on and on. He spoke Spanish & English and was the most friendliest family man. He took us to have beautiful lunches and stop on the road for us to pick fresh mangoes 🥭 He made our experience im Costa Rica 🇨🇷 a dream come true. Thank you Manuel
We had such a fun day with Manuel. He was hilarious and is very knowledgeable about the area. He went out of his way to show us a sloth and monkeys on the side of the road and took us around all the trails we wanted to do and was not in any hurry. We learned so much about the area and the volcano and took so many awesome pictures. Lunch was a delicious fresh Costa Rican meal. The hanging bridges are absolutely stunning. We would book with Costa Rica One on One tours again in a heartbeat!
