Thanks to Sara and the Da Riva team. The tour in Opatija was wonderful, very entertaining and above all informative. Thank you Sara for all the useful inforations about Opatija that we would never have known otherwise.
These were very content-rich 90 minutes in charming chatter tone in flawless German with Karlo's knowledge and expertise on the history of K&K in Opatjia - when all the princes and kings built great villas around 1900 and holidayed in Opatija. Was a lot of fun and enriched our day. Thank you
Karli was fantastic He knew the history and it seems everything else about the town He was easy to understand and very dedicated to his job as certified tour guide
Sara was knowledgeable and great! Thanks for showing us the beauty of your city. Wonderful little walking tour.
We had an absolutely wonderful tour with Danilo. His knowledge of area and history was extensive and his commentary was fun and engaging. We highly recommend him. Perfect introduction to Opatija.
We booked this tour as we were visiting Opatija for the day on a cruise. We met Dani at the tender drop off location. After a quick introduction we walked to the shade of the park and had a quick chat about the history of the town. From that moment I realized Dani was super knowledgeable and passionate about history of the town and the region. Besides being a beautiful seaside resort town there is such an interesting history of leadership and change in the region. Dani did a great job connecting stories of Opatija with Austrian royalty, with Venetian influence, and much more. The town is great to just walk and wander but for a very reasonable price you can leave with so much more info and a better sense of the area.
Tina's tour of Opatija (her hometown) was such a great way to learn a little bit about the region on our longer driving our of Northern Croatia and Slovenia! Tina was so friendly and smart and knowledgeable about the area, and communicative (explaining where to meet and when she arrived, etc.). Opatija is an interesting small city and definitely stood out from some of the other places we visited on our trip. But without Tina, I'm not sure we would have really understood how interest Opatija is! She tailed our tour for us (taking us to a market and a shop she recommended), in addition to showing us Opatija's main highlights. She was great. The tour was great. Highly recommend.
Sarah our guide was one of the best tour guides I have ever experienced. She was knowledgeable and pleasant, but more than that, shared her personal stories and experiences of living in Opatija. It transformed our view of the city and the place from just a pretty town to a place where people lived and thrive.
Sarah was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable about the history, where to go, eat out, and where to shop. It was an easy tour, and well worth the time and money. Before the tour we saw Opatija as a seaside town, and afterwards we were richer for the experience and knowledge, and saw Opatija differently.
Sara was very informative with a great personality Loved our time with her and would highly recommend this tour
