Really appreciate Almu’s passion and depth of knowledge. Felt like we received a pretty good overview of the city.
Carlos was an excellent guide. He was very friendly and considerate and also very knowledgeable. This is a great tour for your first day in Madrid.
I would give this 6 stars. Our guide Pedro’s specialty is art history. He explained each tour location from an architectural, historical, and artistic point of view. We were staying at the Sercotel Conde Duque which turned out to be a convenient starting point Be prepared for a 2.5 hour walk but it’s well worth it.
This was definitely one of the best tours we’ve ever had! Jaime is knowledgeable and has a great way of explaining complex historical times. He is obviously passionate about history and his enthusiasm is contagious! Thanks for a memorable afternoon Jaime!
We did this tour upon arrival to the Madrid. It gave us a great overview of the places to go and explore and gave us a good history of the city. We could not have asked for a better guide than Guido. Guido is a history and art teacher in the city and clearly has a love and deep knowledge of the history of the city. Not only did we explore the major places of the city but Guido took us to the smaller hidden places and markets where to give us ideas on places to go to truly experience all that the city has to offer Guido answered all of our questions and helped us build an itinerary of places to go and things to do while in the city based on our needs and desires. This tour is a must if you plan on spending a few days in Madrid and want to get a good overview of all of the places to go and things to do in the city. This enabled it to better explore and get the most out of our time in this beautiful city.
Jaime was so accommodating and knowledgeable throughout the whole tour. i would highly recommend him for this tour. The passion he uses to explain the history and architecture of Madrid was magnificent. Jamie is worth all you can ask for of a private tour!
Enrique was fabulous! He was on time and gave us an amazing tour. He was very knowledgeable and showed us so much in a short period of time. I highly recommend doing this tour!!! We met Enrique on our arrival day and now we know where to go for the rest of our stay. Thank you again!! So great!!
Jamie, my tour guide, gave me the most wonderful and informative intro to Madrid during our walking tour. In addition to the basic history and geography of Madrid, he shared interesting local tales and pointed out good restaurants and tapas bars. I’m a big believer in walking tours as the best way to get to know a new city and Jamie gives one of the best that I have ever had. Highly recommend.
