It was an interesting tour, and the guide was very competent and friendly! The tour was engaging, and it was fun.
Stella was one of the best guides we've ever had! Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and ability to easily explain the history of Matera was infectious. Highly recommend her!
Wonderful tour in the Sassi of Matera! Brunella is a super-prepared guide, able to make you passionate about the history of the city: a unique place in the world, an authentic wonder. An experience that I would recommend to anyone who wants to discover Matera at its best. ---
Had a great tour with Stella. Not only was she knowledgeable of the history of Matera, but she went above and beyond to make sure we were able to experience this amazing city. Highly recommend.
Mario had extensive knowledge about the history and architecture of old city Matera. We enjoyed the tour and can recommend him highly.
Sara was our tour guide and she was fantastic! We walked and saw all of Matera learning its history up to present day. She pointed out what to do and see in addition to what we saw as well as local recommendations for dining. The history of Matera and the Sassi is fascinating.
Book for morning. Gets very hot! Good walking shoes.. take water with you. Take a hat. Even on the morning.
Very informative tour. Mario knows the area well. We enjoyed our time with him and tour with him again
Very informative. Stella was knowledgeable and friendly. Great tour and not too long. A lot of information and history.
This was a phenomenal tour. Sara was so informative and knowledgeable about the history. She is a local and 3rd generation living in Matera so it was obvious how much she loved it here. We stopped at the Porta Pistola and was able to go on a 1hr hike in the valley, which was also fantastic
