Itinerary
We begin the experience on foot from the meeting point at the main entrance of the National Museum of Anthropology, where your guide will be waiting by the Mexican flagpole. On Sundays, the tour begins at Chapultepec Castle instead, in order to avoid crowds. Your guide will meet you at the Lions Gate, next to the Estela de Luz.
A journey through the largest urban park in Latin America, where, accompanied by your guide, you will explore winding paths and archaeological vestiges set among lakes and ancient, towering trees.
One of Mexico’s most emblematic monuments, reflecting its historical connection to the first United States intervention in the country.
Discover remnants of the ancient hydraulic system of pre-Hispanic Mexico, as well as one of the few surviving Mexica archaeological vestiges, hidden within Chapultepec Forest. Ascend the iconic Hill of the Grasshoppers to visit the only royal castle in the Americas and explore its history as an imperial residence.

The best of the best tour we have expereinced at Mexico city. We have learnt so much information about everything. The reason that we enjoy a lot is the guide Carlos. The most intelligent guide we have ever mer. If you are lucky you meet with him. He loves his job very much. All the questions we have, he answered with lots of details. Thank you Carlos! Thank you Viator!
Alicia was an excellent guide. We did a private tour with her through Amigo tours. We learned alot and enjoyed the tour. We definitely would recommend Alicia if you want a very knowledgeable tour guide. It was great having a private tour as well. Bring your wallkng shoes. The museum was excellent and we appeciated having her guidance in English as the display notes were all in Spanish.
Hermes was very knowledgeable and passionate about his subjects. He was also funny and considerate of us, making sure we had time to rest during this long tour. I highly recommend him
This tour is a must for anyone visiting Mexico City. Our tour guide. Hermez, was absolutely AMAZING!!! Thank you for a great experience!!!
Hello Mrs. Nataly, Thank you so much for sharing with us your experience, this is our pleasure to host you during your last visit to Mexico City. We hope to welcome you again in the near future. Warm regards, Travelezza Team
We had an outstanding private tour with Maribel who had a wealth of knowledge about the history, archeology, and customs of the different pre-historic civilizations as well as the Chapultepec Castle. A private or small group tour is the only way to experience these settings as there is so much to see and there are not many English translations. We would have missed so much if we had tried to go alone to these sites. Maribel gave us great tips for nearby restaurants and places to visit while in Mexico City. Definitely take this tour.
We had a great tour learning about the history, culture, lifestyle, and architecture of the Aztecs at Teotihuacan. Our guide, Alicia, was extremely knowledgable and helpful in making sure we were able to understand what she was explaining. Our driver, Marco, was friendly and provided great information about things to see in Mexico City and other destinations to visit In Mexico. Both our guide and driver wanted to ensure we had a great visit to Mexico.
Maribel was absolutely amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to understand. All four of us loved the tour. The pre-tour communication was also excellent. We have done many international walking tours and this one was as good as any. I have taught Meso-American history for thirty years and still learned a large amount today.
This was one of the best guided tours we have been on - I would give it 10 stars if I could. Our guide, Isaias, was excellent; his knowledge, storytelling, and passion for the history of Mexico and its people was outstanding. Also, Isaias was welcoming and extremely personable. That, combined with his keen abilities to share historical and cultural information, made this tour one of the best.
Ariadna was a great and very knowledgeable guide. She has an easy going personality and was approachable and kind. I feel like I received a more valuable experience by having her guide my friend and me through the Antropología Museum and Chapultepec Castle. You can either learn by using the headsets or by having a real person and intelligent guide available to ask questions and provide a lot of information along this pleasant journey. I would recommend her services as a professional guide.
It is so nice to see these incredible sites with such an informative, friendly and knowledgeable guide. We learned so much and had a wonderful day. A great way to visit these places! Highly recommend
