The excellent guide Wayne, an Aussie now relocated to Copenhagen, walked us through the central areas, stopping to give us information about both what we were seeing and also about life in Copenhagen. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, kept the pace up and we finished in about two and a half hours. There were no breaks I would throughly recommend both this Free Walking Tour and the guide Wayne. Make sure you tip generously - keep this fine institution going.
We did the classic tour with Laura playing the most important and outstanding points and attractions in Copenhagen. We also got a page with data and tips to get around the city! Super friendly and entertaining
Don't miss this excellent tour of Copenhagen. Our guide James covered historic and many current topics, and we came away from the 2.5 hours with an appreciation for Danish culture. This is so worthwhile.
We discovered this formula in Budapest, it's fantastic both free and paid. Here in Copenhagen it is free, unless you leave a contribution. We had a great time with our Italian guide, who showed great passion in describing the city and the Danish people with whom she fell in love. The 3-hour tour started from City Hall, passing through Christianborg, Hotel d'Anglaterra, Nihavn, Amalienborg.... Nice nice nice
Fatal, we were 15 minutes before the time we reserved to take the tour and the guide Pedro did not appear, he left us stranded and we were left without doing the tour so fatal. It is disrespectful to make two people get up early and then not show up. I will certainly not hire them again and I do not recommend it.
Hello, We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience, however, you were not scheduled for a private Classical Tour with Copenhagen Free Walking Tours. You were scheduled for a free walking tour with another Spanish Tour Guide and he is a different company from us. We hope you were able to find an alternative option for tours in Copenhagen. Kind regards, Penny
Mikkel lead our tour of approximately 21 tourists in English. He had extensive knowledge of the city’s history and several entertaining stories of the evolution of the city. Our tour lasted 2 1/2 hours and I was engaged in the discussion the entire time. I would highly recommend this tour to get some basic knowledge of this charming city.
This free tour was excellent. Wayne was a superb guide. Definitely recommend just be prepared for a fair amount of walking.
It was absolutely enriching. I really enjoyed this tour of the city, we learn a lot and we have anecdotes in addition to the guides if they are local. I did my turn with Mikkel, he did it like a chef only to admit at the end that it was actually his very first turn and I was pleasantly surprised it looked like he had done it for years so bravo and thank you to him. I strongly advise, the tour is free but for the investment of these guides do not hesitate to give something at the end as a thank you. Greetings from France
Andrés has been an exceptional guide, he has made a great tour full of anecdotes and interesting historical data
Jack is wonderful guide, his tour is informative and fun, really glad to have an opportunita to join his group.
