It's a long travel but indeed worth it. Happy to see the beauty of oman. Ras Alhad is really a place to remember. Thanks to our tour guide/driver for this wonderful trip for keeping us safe as it is a long drive from the city. Ras Al Hadd is one of the most remarkable places in Oman. Ras Al Hadd Beach is famous for its green sea turtles. It is one of the major tourist attractions, especially during the turtle season. July - October is the peak time for turtle watching. Approximately 20,000 turtles lay an egg with an estimated 50,000 - 60,000 eggs per year in Oman. The sun rises first in this enchanting place before any other place in the Sultanate. Ras Al Hadd is located on 2 important seas, the Sea of Oman and the Arabian Sea. Birds come here in large numbers and large numbers of Green Sea Turtles are found here. The average adult size is around 1 meter in diameter. The Ras Al Hadd Beach is so captivating, that once you visit the place you wanted to visit it again. Ras Al Hadd and its beaches are the places in Oman that you should not miss.
