Shannon was an excellent guide! She kept our kids ages 10 and 12 engaged the whole time. We all learned so much about Venetian history, the basilica, and the palace that we would have missed without this tour.
Informative, fun tour! Shannon was an excellent tour guide. Our kids ages 12 and 10 stayed engaged the whole time, and we all learned so much about Venetian history. Without this tour, we would have missed so many fascinating details of the palace and basilica.
The small, intimate excursion with a kind, local guide is worth every penny. Ottavia knew her history, important points of information, and added in delightful moments of her unique personality. Our daughter was getting over the effects of a concussion and ended up needing to leave the tour early due to headaches and Ottavia helped get her in an elevator to avoid stairs and ice packs to help with heat. We continued the tour with an even smaller group and are looking forward to more LIV Tours in the future!
Francesca was a fantastic guide. We learned so much about the history of Venice and the art. She was so personable and she made all of it so interesting!
Our family of 4 enjoyed our tour with Valentina. It was HOT, but Valentina made sure our comfortable 7 and 10 year old children were engaged and interested in the history of both the Doge’s Palace and the basilica. She went at our pace and allowed for frequent breaks in the cooler rooms of the palace. Her language and approach with children was incredible. This could have been a really challenging experience for parents, but Valentina made sure the kids were interested and learned throughout. Valentina is a local Venetian. Her stories of the city are wonderful and personal. Highly recommend her to any family wishing to take in some history while also enjoying the city of Venice.
Valentina was so great with the kids. She kept him entertained the whole time even when it was 90° heat.
Wonderful, informative tour
There was no way we would have been able to tour these Venetian staples without a private tour geared towards children. Our kids would have lost interest very quickly without the help of Sabrina and her workbook!
We had a fantastic private tour of the Doge’s Palace and St. Mark’s Basilica with our 7- and 10-year-old children. Our guide did an excellent job bringing the history of Venice to life in a way that kept both kids and adults engaged from start to finish. The tour was interactive, fun, and paced perfectly for children, with lots of interesting stories and details that captured their attention. At the same time, the guide provided plenty of historical context and insights that the adults appreciated. We learned so much while never feeling overwhelmed or rushed. Visiting these incredible landmarks with a knowledgeable guide made the experience much more meaningful, and our kids are still talking about what they learned. We highly recommend this tour to families looking for a kid-friendly way to experience Venice’s history and culture. It was one of the highlights of our trip!
Your incorrect-we did a private tour to Murano, Burano, and Lido. Guilin was wonder for my 10 year old daughter and me! She tailored what she talked about to ensure my daughter was having a great time and didn’t rush her when she wanted more time in certain places! I highly recommend her!!!!
