During the reign of Rama II the swing ceremony was discontinued as the swing had become structurally damaged by lightning. The ceremony was again performed until 1935, when it was discontinued after several fatal accidents.

A Fun Night Around Bangkok

This was a really enjoyable night tour. We liked riding around Bangkok by tuk tuk because the city felt more alive at night. Paula was friendly and knew how to explain the food in a simple way. We tried a few dishes we probably would not have ordered by ourselves, and most of them were really good. The flower market was absolutely beautiful. We saw so many different kinds of flowers, and it was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bangkok.

Loved the Night Atmosphere

Bangkok at night has such a different feeling. The streets were busy, the signs were bright, and the food stalls smelled great. Paula was very good at explaining the area and helping us order. I liked that we did not only eat, we also stopped for photos and saw some beautiful city views along the way.

Full Stomach, Good Memories

We finished the tour very full and happy. Kay was helpful the whole evening and made the food stops easy for us. My favorite part was sitting at a simple local place and trying dishes I had never tried of before. The tuk tuk ride added a lot of fun to the night. A nice Bangkok experience.

Incredible Bangkok food tour

Poppy was an exceptional guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and flexible throughout the day. She adjusted our schedule based on what we wanted to do and made sure we had the best experience possible. She taught us so much about the local culture and history while also taking us to hidden gems we never would have found on our own. By the end of the tour, it felt like we had made a new friend. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and highly recommend her. Plus the food was AMAZING!!

Good Evening With Friends

I did this tour with friends, and we had a good time. Kay kept the evening moving nicely and helped us try a mix of food. Some dishes were familiar, some were new for us. The tuk tuk was fun, especially when we passed the night lights around the city. Good tour if you want food and sightseeing together.

Food We Would Have Missed

The best thing about this tour was trying food we would have walked past if we were alone. Paula explained what to try and helped us choose dishes that were not too spicy. We enjoyed the local restaurants and street food stops. The tuk tuk ride also made the night feel more like an experience.

Absence of a guide on a tour best suited for 2

As a starting point a tour that can show life in the city and give insight into the food Thai serves. The tour is not suitable for larger groups you drive 2 and 2 in tuktuk and in our case the guide communicates a lot during the ride, something that only 2 were able to, she was absent during large parts of the tour and so much down in her own phone.

Operator response

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your honest feedback about your Tuk Tuk Food and City Tour experience. Your review is very valuable to us, and we truly appreciate you bringing these points to our attention. Regarding the Tuk Tuk arrangement, we have taken your suggestion seriously. Currently, we use one Tuk Tuk for every two guests to provide an authentic Bangkok Tuk Tuk experience. For larger groups, we will also ensure that our guide gives explanations at each stop where everyone can hear clearly before continuing to the next destination by Tuk Tuk. We are also considering additional options for larger groups, such as using a larger Tuk Tuk so that guests traveling together can ride in the same vehicle and enjoy the guide’s explanations equally throughout the tour. At the same time, we understand that choosing the right type of Tuk Tuk is important, as some guests prefer the traditional Bangkok Tuk Tuk experience, while others may prefer a larger electric Tuk Tuk for greater comfort. We will carefully consider our guests’ preferences before making any changes. Regarding the use of a mobile phone during the tour, we completely understand your concern. This is a serious matter, and we have no excuse for this behavior. We will address this issue with our team immediately and remind all of our guides to maintain their full attention and professionalism while taking care of our guests. Your feedback truly helps us improve, and we sincerely appreciate you taking the time to share it with us. We are committed to continuously improving our services and doing our best to meet our clients’ expectations. Thank you again for helping us become better. Warm regards, NocNoc Travel and Tours

Tuk Tuk sightseeing, local food experience and Wat Arun View from Terrace

Our guide, Poppy, was incredibly kind and attentive to every detail. She was always looking after us, making sure we were comfortable and introducing us to the very best of the local cuisine. We thoroughly enjoyed the nighttime sightseeing tour by tuk-tuk. The highlight of the evening was the breathtaking view of Wat Arun at night from the terrace of Amorosa Restaurant. Thank you, Poppy, for taking such great care of us and making our experience so memorable.
