This stop is optional(added fee is 35-45€ for 1h),Klis fortress is amazing viewpoint for city of Split, it is the city of Meereen in the series "Game of Thrones" ,one of the most popular sightseeing stops in the Split area.The Klis Fortress (Croatian: Tvrđava Klis) is a small stronghold built by the ancient Illyrian tribe Dalmatae, becoming a royal castle that was the seat of many Croatian kings, to its final development as a large fortress during the Ottoman wars in Europe, Klis Fortress has guarded the frontier, being lost and re-conquered several times throughout its more-than-two-thousand-year-long history. Due to its location on a pass that separates the mountains Mosor and Kozjak, the fortress served as a major source of defense in Dalmatia, especially against the Ottoman advance, and has been a key crossroad between the Mediterranean belt and the Balkan rear.

I and five friends were just in Croatia for two weeks and used Adriatic Shuttle for all of our transportation needs. This included airport transfers from Split Airport both arriving and departing; a day long private trip to Krka Park for the waterfalls, lunch, and Klis Fortress; and driving us to Dubrovnik. The drivers; Mislav, Rocco, and Jonny were all wonderful drivers who gave great recommendations on eating places and local sites of interest. Branko, the owner, was extremely accommodating to any last minute changes or additions of passengers, and was very prompt in replying to messages or emails. His vehicles were all new, clean, very comfortable and appropriately tailored to the number of passengers. I cannot recommend Adriatic Shuttle enough for anyone traveling in Croatia!

Dino was amazing! He picked us up from the airport in Zadar, and we stopped at Krka National Park on our way to Split. We were able to spend a couple hours at the park and have lunch. We arrived in Split in the afternoon. It was a wonderful and comfortable ride!
This is a great company. Branko was easy to work with on the booking side for a fair price. Ante was an awesome driver with great local knowledge for two trips we took with them, from Dubrovnik to Split (with a stop at a beautiful Terra Madre winery) and to Krka park. I highly recommend using these guys!
This was one of our favorite most relaxing tours we booked on our European cruise this Sept. The communication was great, pick up at cruise port was smooth, driver spoke English and communicated with us in the Whatsup. Car was clean, comfortable and spacious. We first drove to Krka Waterfalls, which was gorgeous! Driver took care of our tickets that were included with tour and dropped us off at the start of the path to walk around the falls. It was raining that morning and our driver had 2 umbrellas for us which was a life saver, although the rain did not last long. Then we went to Klis Fortress, which we paid our own entrance fee for and back to ship with time to spare. We never had to worry about time, being rushed or not making it back to ship in time. Would definitely book again with this company next time we are in Split. Highly recommend them and seeing beautiful Croatia!
Nicola, our driver, arrived promptly just before the scheduled pickup time and everything went smoothly. We were on a very tight time line to see Krka and booking this privately was the perfect option. Our luggage was also stowed safely in the trunk while we walked the loop trails. Being driven right to the starting point and having the tickets purchased through their service saved us much time. I highly recommend this service!

I traveled with a large group (20 people) to Split. While there, we planned an excursion and hired 3 vans. All our drivers were courteous and professional and shared a little bit of history about the area. We had an excellent experience and would definitely recommend Adriatic Shuttle Transfers.
the car was too small for 4 adults and the driver drove very fast. the passengers in the back seat were car sick. The driver was not engaged but we did arrive to our destination. Then at the end tried to charge us 190 euro for the park tickets which were actually 120 euro. we questioned it and then only paid the 120.
Hi Donna: 1: you have booked a car not a van,i have even sent you a message with the picture which you confimred,it was a brand new stylsih car.you could have booked a van but you did not because its a higher price,which is also fine but it doenst make sense complaining about something you didnt book. its like paying for mcdonalds burger and complaining you didnt get a t bone steak. 2 Driver Nicola has all the perfect reviews,so this about him driving fast is not true,i dont know why did you write that.i have gps records that show that this is false. 3 price per ticket is 40 eur and admission/drive for the vip entrance(if you wish ,which you did),i have sent you a message about that prior which you confirmed and you agreed to. WHen you didnt want to pay,i said to the driver just accept 120 which was not agreed(what else was he suppose to do) in the end we payed the difference and drove your free to the main gate,you could have booked the tickets on your own for 160 without the vip entrance and go to the bus with other people, but you didnt do that,you wanted the vip entrance and the drive to the main gate and the tickets but you did not pay for it in the end, we payed the difference for the tickets and drove you for free to the main gate. Again complaining about something that you knew in advance doesnt make sense. you could have gone with the bus with other visitors,but you did not,and even with that option you would have payed more then you payed to the driver. i just hope everybody sees how your review is unfair, you knew about everything and the price in advance and you backed out at the end leaving us accepting less then agreed. Next time when you have a unfair treatment towards you, maybe you will remember this post, cause you are first person that we had trouble with paying on something which was agreed in advance.
