Wish we had more time

This trip was excellent. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the city and its history. He took some great family photos without us even asking. He was very patient with our member that was elderly and a little slower than the rest of us. We all enjoyed this trip, we just wished we had more time in the city.

A Very Good Tour in Need of Some Modifications

Overall, this was a very educational tour. Again, similarly to a different review I placed, there was a bit of a miscommunication. According to the confirmation and the ticket information I received, our pick-up was scheduled for 8:30 am. At 8:22 am, I received a phone call from Isabel, the tour company operator, asking why we were running behind and encouraging the group to hurry up; she stated our pick-up was scheduled for 8:15 am. It was not! This set the path for the long ride to Seville; the tour leader of our tour kept calling the driver asking where we were, the driver was stressed that we needed to stop and use bathroom facilities and the meeting point in Seville was a bit disorganized. As for the tour itself, we enjoyed it very much. The tour guide was well spoken, answered our questions and clearly knew the history of the Real Alcazar and the Catedral de Sevile. However, when our tour continued into the Barrio Santa Cruz, the tour guide knew nothing about the Sephardi Jews. As a matter of interest, the few facts she shared were false and I corrected her. To state that the Jews were moved into the barrio for their own safety is absolutely inaccurate and minimizes a huge component of their history. As a person with Sephardic heritage, touring the Barrio of Santa Cruz was a major factor in my decision to select this tour. I was disappointed. On a positive note, the transportation vehicle was comfortable and well air-conditioned, the driver was pleasant and the tour guide's recommendation to make a lunch reservation ahead was fantastic. I would recommend this tour, but the guides should really brush up on some of the historical facts.
