I was traveling with my family and luggage. I booked directly through Viator and confirmed that a bus or van would pick us up to accommodate us and our luggage. They showed up in a car and couldn’t fit us so they left us at the hotel. Our hotel had to arrange car service for us last minute to get us to our train on time in Portugal. The car service left and I asked for a refund since they didn’t fulfill the service and they won’t give me my money back especially when they messed up on their end. Terrible customer service.

When you booked through Viator, we offer clear options for vehicles size : a 4-seater car is suitable up to four medium pieces of luggage, and an 8-seater van/minibus is available for larger or additional luggage. During the booking process, you informed us that you had four medium luggage and choose to book the standard 4-seater vehicle, declining the option for the 8-seater van. Unfortunately, upon arrival, our driver found that you had four extra-large luggage in addition to several small bags. A standard 4-seater cannot accommodate this volume of luggage. As such, the driver was unable to transport your party. While we regret the inconvenience this caused, it is the customer's responsibility to select the appropriate vehicle size based on their actual luggage requirements. The chosen 4-seater vehicle is a standard car, not a van or minibus. We hope this clarifies our policy and the circumstances of your booking
