Karmravor Church, which is one of the most charming churches of Armenia. It's of the color red, which is the main reason why the church is called Karmravor (meaning “reddish”). The building is made of brown tuff. Hovhannavank is an Armenian Apostolic Church situated atop a steep gorge carved by the Kasakh river. Saghmosavank monastery is also situated on the edge of gorge of Qasagh River. Hovhannavank is an Armenian Apostolic Church monastery located in the village of Ohanavan. It is situated atop a steep gorge carved by the Kasakh river.
Saghmosavank monastery is also situated on the edge of gorge of Qasagh River. It was built in 1215. Saghmosavank Monastery was famous for its manuscripts.
