Itinerary
The Emerald Buddha image, the most important Buddha image in Thailand is enshrined inside the ordination hall of the temple. The Emerald Buddha image wasn't cast from Emerald but was cast from high quality of green jade. We found the Buddha image in 1432. You come to Thailand, you should go and pray for your luck.
The Grand Palace was constructed together with the founding of Bangkok in 1782 when King Rama 1 ascended to the throne and founded a new dynasty. The Grand Palace is very important as it used to be the palladium of the state. It was used for both the royal residence and the administrative center of the country in the government system of absolute monarchy. Today, the palace is used just for ceremonials. The architectural plan of this palace was almost identical in every detail to the Grand Palace of the former capital of Ayutthaya (about 600 years ago) because the King wanted to recreate the glory of the city as it was in the past. So it was completely first built in traditional Thai style. However, at various periods, the influences from other nations affect to the architecture in Thailand in different reigns such as the Chinese elements introduced by King Rama 3 in the early 19th century and the western building style introduced by King Rama 5 in the late 19th century.
There is no clear evidence when the Reclining Buddha Temple or Wat Pho Temple was first built but we believe that the temple has been there for over 300 years before the founding of both the capital of Thonburi and Bangkok. There you will see the most beautiful Reclining Buddha image in Thailand with 46 meters long and 15 meters high.
Wat Arun Temple or the Temple of Dawn is the landmark of Bangkok. There you will see the highest Prang tower in Bangkok with the height of 67 meters.

Katie was a very knowledgeable guide and spent lots of time with us as we visited temples and the palace throughout Bangkok. Wonderful experience that I would recommend highly to others.
Poppy did a very good job in explaining the history and culture of the sites we toured today. Additionally, her picture taking ability helped capture our experiences for our entire family.
This tour was perfect! Alex and the driver picked me up and took me back to my hotel near the airport, an electric air-conditioning car, where they offered me all the water I needed and cold towels to refresh after the very high heat during the tour. The whole experience was customize to me, Alex made me feel very well attended, she was extremely knowledgeable, and explained very carefully all the temples, took pictures, and was always positive and professional and so kind, Bangkok is gorgeous and people are nice and welcoming. If you’re looking for a half-day tour to visit all the temples in Bangkok, this is the best one! I recommend bringing light fabric clothes because of the heat and a hat or umbrella.
On a hot morning, Angie was a great guide to take us around the three main temples. She and Mr. Tony took great care to make sure we were comfortable, supplying us with cool water, cold towels and umbrellas. Angie was very knowledgeable about the history of the sites and we had a great time exchanging stories. She's also a super photographer and took the best family pictures! Special note of thanks for being so mindful of the needs of our kids!
Wonderful guide. Personable, knowledgeable and spoke English very well.

100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bangkok! It was an amazing experience from start to finish. There was an option to travel by private vehicle or public transportation, and I chose public transportation for the experience. I’m so glad I did. We used the metro, took the ferry, and even rode in a tuk-tuk, which made the day feel much more authentic and fun. My guide, “Tip,” was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable about the temples and explained everything clearly, which made the experience even more meaningful. I did the tour solo and really enjoyed it. Tip was also an excellent photographer and was more than happy to take all the pictures I wanted. We visited some of the main temples in Bangkok, including the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, and since it was my first time, it felt like the perfect introduction to the city. I met other travelers who said they visited the Grand Palace on their own and ended up getting scammed, but I didn’t have to worry about that at all on this tour. Tip was also very flexible and accommodating. She took me to a local spot to buy elephant pants at a cheaper price, and we stopped for delicious pad thai from a street vendor along with Thai milk tea. I also mentioned I wanted to wear a traditional Thai outfit at Wat Arun, and she helped me find a place to rent one and they even had a professional photographer. The photos turned out amazing! At the end of the tour, I wanted to go to Iconsiam mall, and she kindly dropped me off there and explained exactly how to get back to my hotel using public transportation, which I really appreciated. The price was very reasonable and included transportation, water, and even my Thai milk tea. She picked me up directly from my hotel, was extremely friendly, and made communication easy throughout the entire experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bangkok. It’s a great way to see the city, learn about its culture, and have a stress-free experience.

Ms.Orange was great she really took the time to explain lots of details and background stories of each palace/temple we visited. She even spontaneously recommended we add on a canal tour and we got to see a side of Bangkok we would’ve never considered and it was amazing!! Her and the driver were so professional and ensured we kept hydrated and cooled down. I recommend this tour to everyone!

We booked a half-day private tour with Som to explore Bangkok’s key historical sites, and it turned out to be a great experience from start to finish. The tour lasted around five hours, with seamless hotel pickup, which made everything very smooth and comfortable. A real highlight was the canal cruise—we spent about an hour on the water and got to see a completely different, more authentic side of Bangkok. It added a unique touch that made the tour feel more special. Som was excellent—professional, knowledgeable, and very easy to spend time with. She shared plenty of interesting insights and stories, striking a perfect balance between informative and relaxed. Overall, a very well-organized and enjoyable way to see Bangkok’s main highlights in a short time. Ideal if you’re looking for something efficient but still high quality.

I had an incredible private tour of the Grand Palace, Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha), and Wat Arun, and I cannot recommend it enough. My guide, Poppy, was absolutely amazing and truly made the experience unforgettable. Poppy was knowledgeable, warm, and engaging, sharing rich historical context, cultural insights, and thoughtful details that brought each site to life. She navigated the crowds with ease, paced the tour perfectly, and was incredibly attentive—making sure we were comfortable, hydrated, and had time to fully take in each location. The Grand Palace was stunning, Wat Pho was awe-inspiring, and Wat Arun was breathtaking, especially learning about the symbolism and history behind the architecture. Poppy answered every question with depth and clarity and made the tour feel personal rather than scripted. She also is amazing photographer… major plus. If you’re visiting Bangkok and want a meaningful, well-organized, and enriching experience of these iconic temples, book this private tour—and ask for Poppy if you can. She is truly exceptional.
