It is connected by a five-story Cloak Bridge with one of the city's main sights The castle theater on the west side. For centuries, famous plays of Shakespeare, Moliere, Racine and other geniuses have been staged in the theater. Today the theater is a museum. But three times a year there are still performances in it.

Visiting Pesky Krumlov was delightful. We enjoyed the Castle and walking around the small town - though most stores catered to tourists. Our private tour guide often spoke not looking at us or not waiting for us to be next to her. She was knowledgeable but didn't have good tour guide skills.
Excellent tour, definately worth doing private. It wasn't rushed, Helen was amazing, told us really good stories and not just like she had read it out of a book. Very personable, very accommodating and let us do do the tour at our own pace. Highly recommend Helen. Excellent driver Paul, very safe and smooth ride.
Anna our guide gave us the whole history of the region, the noble families and their castles. She was so personable and made the trip contrast perfectly with the historical development of the area
