Elio was our guide and he was amazing! He lived in Siena for a time and was a member of one of the Contrattas. He took us to a Ci tratta museum and really gave us a feel for the atmosphere of Palio. Saw St Catherine's and loved that! Our 18 yr old grandson was loving the idea of a head and finger relic! Great to tour with a local...highly recommend!
Georgia was a delight! So knowledgeable about the subject matter with a real enthusiasm! She was so accommodating and especially friendly! Definitely would recommend her!!
Absolutely informative with an exemplary guide. Interesting, informative, and engaging. Especially flexible with rescheduling or special requests.
Our tour guide Elio was excellent.
This was probably one of the best tours we've been on. Georgia, our guide, was so much a great guide. She was very in tune with us too, knowing when she had to slow down her talking for my older mother who was not understanding and when to speed it up. She customized our tour with us and gave us so much history and lore, we fell instantly with Siena because of her. 10/10 best thing to do in Siena. Highly recommended!
Wow, just awesome. Georgia was outstanding. We even booked her for another tour later in the week. This was the most enjoyable part of the vacation…we learned so much…i highly recommend this tour!
Our tour guide, Giorgia, was very personable and knowledgeable. We learned a great deal about Siena and a short amount of time. A highlight was Giorgia's expertise regarding the Duomo pavement art. Truly fascinating. The pace of the tour was perfect and Giorgia walked the streets discussing it's history and views with patience.
I cannot imagine a better tour guide than Elio. He took the time to shape the tour around our interests. It was far more than we hoped for. Elio gave us insight into the Basilica, the contrade, and even shared his expertise in Tuscan wines. He has a command of history, religion, art history, and Siena culture. We had the most excellent morning seeing Siena through his eyes.
Ambra was an excellent tour guide who was very knowledgeable and very helpful and friendly. We had a very enjoyable tour with her.
Sylvia was an excellent guide. She asked where we had been and changed her tour to places we had not been. She was very knowledgeable and personable and we highly recommend her since we experienced a great tour
