Picked up by our private driver at our apt. Early stop in Pienza before the crowds. Beautiful views. Off to the Ercolani Winery in Montepulciano. Melanie gave us a wonderful wine tasting and a delicious lunch. The wine was so good. Our third stop was a newer winery that had a gorgeous vineyard. The presentation was great but did not have the flair of the first winery. The wine there was just ok. Hence the 4 stars. Overall we had a memorable day in the Tuscan countryside.
Guide was great very accommodating and the vineyards were excellent Patrizia cencioni vineyard was so interesting how it started and the tasting was amazing
This was a fabulous tour. Enea, our tour guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave us great information. He was on time and was a very safe driver. He took us to 2 very good vineyards where the tastings were fabulous. He also gave us some tips for our travel throughout the week.
An absolutely excellent day on this tour with Andreas as our driver/guide. Many stops and tailored to our interests. Andreas new his stuff about Tuscan wines and we certainly learnt from the day. The wine tastings were excellent and well above the average quality. The lunch was magnificent and we even took a doggy bag home as not just very yummy, but the quantity of food was very generous. Andreas was charming and we enjoyed his company during the long but fun day. We always felt safe with his driving and he never rushed us. Absolutely no hesitation is recommending this tour, not cheap, but worth every cent. Thanks Andreas…!
Our tour of Pienza, Montepulciano, and Montalcino was suberb. Andrea was an excellent tour guide taking us through the Tuscany countryside and ensuring we visited the most beautiful sites. He arranged three wine tours which included a fantastic wine tasting and lunch in Montepulciano. He clearly knows where to eat and drink in Tuscany. We would definitely book a trip again with Andrea, he was fantastico!!
