Private Tour Portugal 8 days from Lisbon

We took a wonderful Lisbon and Porto with Premier Tours. Jorge was was very accommodating and over the months before our trip he was amenable to customizing our tour. We wanted to spend a day in each city on our own, which was not a problem. Jose was our guide and he was very knowledgeable about the history of the places we visited, he picked us up on time and delivered us to our destination each day. On the way Jose provided deeper exposure to Portugal than you would get from a tour junket. We traveled with Jose around Lisbon and outside the city, then we took the ride to Porto, visiting sites along the way. While in Porto we visited the Port Wine region and other places of interest. I would highly recommend a tour with Premier. The company is professional, the cars are as advertised and the guides are top notch.

My friends and I had a wonderful time touring parts of Portugal, coupled with our excellent guide, Rui Wahnon, who made sure that we were comfortable. We are ready to come back and explore more of Portugal!

Great decision to use Premier. Ours was an 8-day tour but customized to be 9 days. Our guide Rui took great care of our group. The sweetest gentleman! He speaks English, friendly, accommodating, good and safe driver, happy to take our photos and very enthusiastic to show us Portugal. We miss Rui already. We had the most wonderful time!

We traveled with my 81- year-old mother-in-law, who'd been to Portugal before. This was our first trip, and we wanted a local, knowledgeable driver and guide to smooth our travels and give us insight into this amazing Mediterranean country. Rui more than fit the bill. He was very knowledgeable, attentive, and solicitous -- and a talented driver who managed to get us close to sites in challenging circumstances! Rui also took care of my mother-in-law while my husband and I explored a few times on our own. We highly recommend him and the tour.

The tour was a good way to see some of the top sites in Portugal. We were disappointed with our guide. He didn’t check ahead very well with weather or when places were closed. He didn’t seem to understand that we really wanted to see the tourist sites and were ok with paying entrance fees if needed. We missed seeing the Peña palace 2 days in a row - thankfully we went our last day in Portugal and saw the palace (the inside is worth seeing!), the nearby moorish castle to view the palace from a distance and Quinta da regalia (the initiation well).

Our driver-guide, Jose, proved to be one of the most knowledgeable individuals we have ever met. Not only that, but he was also a true gentleman, ensuring every detail of our tour was executed flawlessly. And indeed, it was just perfect. I wholeheartedly recommend the services provided by this company without any hesitation.

Best visiting country in the world. We had an amazing time in Portugal with Premiere Tours and Rodrigo our driver-guide. My husband and I traveled to Portugal in June 2023 with my in laws who recently turned 80. We did an 8 day tour and added one day in the Algave. Jorge was extremely patient in helping us plan an amazing vacation. We had a wonderful time! Our driver/guide was Vasco. He was an excellent driver through the very narrow streets of Portugal and an amazing tour guide. We were surprised at how young he is, but found him extremely knowledgeable and professional. His personality is so well suited for this job. After knowing us for just a short time, he quickly recognized what we would enjoy doing and gave excellent recommendations as well as delicious dining suggestions so we could sample authentic Portuguese cuisine. He also was able to anticipate physical restrictions for my in-laws and was able to suggestion some modifications for them while still accommodating my husband and I to have the full experience of where we were visiting and never made us feel rushed. Vasco is very energetic and passionate about his country, but what I liked most about him is that he is a very genuine and kind person which is so important when you are spending 8 hours a day for 9 days with a complete stranger. We had some adventures and a lot of laughs. I highly recommend Premiere Tours and would definitely request Vasco!

Jorge, the owner of Premiere tours spent 8 days with our group of 6 people. His knowledge and passion for his country was amazing. His facts were presented in an interesting way. As important was his ability to deal with all our personalities and the demands that come with it. I felt I learned a great deal about Portugal and had fun.
