Friendly, knowledgeable, courteous tour guide! We loved him!

Richard was excellent!! He was friendly, courteous and great with communication prior to our tour so we knew exactly where to meet him and when. He showed us all of the things we wanted to see and a few extras that made the tour very memorable. He is very knowledgeable about the city so we felt well informed about the history and some local, "little known" tidbits that made the trip interesting. We threw him a few last minute requests and he made them happen, and he didn't rush us when the tour started to go a little overtime. Altogether, he is a very friendly and engaging tour guide and I highly recommend him (in fact, I connected him with friends the very next day!).

Good informative tour but cut short

Richard was very friendly and spoke good English. He was very amenable and tried to accommodated our requirements. Unfortunately, this tour was meant for 6 hours, but we had to condense it to suit our flight out of Buenos Aires, so needed to cut it to 4 hours, which Richard was happy to do. However, he suggested lunch at a restaurant in Caminita and they took ages to prepare the meal (which was good). But this meant we had to rush through the remainder of our tour sites! So these became a drive past or very quick stop. We did not get to see the Recoleto Cemetery, which I was looking forward to. Even then it took 5 Hours so we had to rush to pack and catch our flight.

Excellent 👌 Perfect

Richard was the perfect host. He went out of his way to me sure we were as comfortable as possible. He parked where we could easily access. He was in constant contact when we were on our own. He went above and beyond guides have done before.

Buenos Aires

Richard is an excellent tour guide. He is knowledge, punctual, friendly, and was very attentive to our interests. He customized the itinerary and showed us both famous sights and hidden gems. We had a fantastic time with him. He also provided us with transfers from and to the airport and patiently waited while our luggage was delayed. We highly recommend him.

Excellent 6-hour private tour

We did a six-hour private tour of Buenos Aires with Richard yesterday and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The tour gave us a very comprehensive overview of the city, covering far more than we could have managed on our own. Richard is very knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. His English was good and more than sufficient for the tour, and he was able to clearly explain the history, culture, and local context of Buenos Aires. He shared a lot of insight that we simply would not have picked up without a guide. What really stood out was how personalized and flexible the experience was. This was not a scripted or rushed tour. Richard was very accommodating in adjusting the itinerary based on our interests and never made us feel constrained by time. He even went above and beyond by helping us stop at a couple of places we needed to visit privately to top up our SIM data, without any hesitation or complaint. He was genuinely kind and easygoing, and the day felt relaxed and personal. We also enjoyed chatting with him and learning a bit about his family, which made the experience feel very human rather than transactional. When we asked for a quick lunch recommendation, he took us to a local market spot for choripán (chorizo on a bun). We had no idea what to expect, but it was outstanding, full of colour, energy, and local life. It’s exactly the kind of place we never would have discovered on our own and ended up being one of our favourite moments of the day. Many of the places Richard took us to are ones we likely would never have gone to independently, which is exactly what you hope for in a great guide. I would strongly recommend a private tour over a group tour, and also suggest opting for a longer tour with a car rather than a short walking tour. You see so much more of Buenos Aires in a limited amount of time, and can always revisit your favourite neighbourhoods on your own afterward. An excellent overall experience, and we would happily recommend Richard to anyone visiting Buenos Aires.
