We had a good day today visiting the two main temples in Luxor City - Karnak & Luxor. Ahmed, our Guide, was very informative but not excessively so. Giving us space, after giving us the history & pointing out the significant events and locations, to let us explore each site. My only criticism of the day was we were dropped outside the main site parking areas lengthening the walking we had to do just to get to and exit each site. Sounds petty, but my wife was in visible pain walking (she needs a new knee), but no consideration seemed evident.
The temples are amazing. Especially Karnak. As far as the tour company, they stayed in touch with us through everything. The driver was on time. They were both very friendly. Please remind them to give you your bottle of water, because it's easy to forget, and water is SO expensive at the tourist sites. It takes at LEAST 90 minutes to see Karnak Temple, and 60 minutes to see Luxor Temple.
