Itinerary
The Khor Virap meaning "deep dungeon" is an Armenian monastery located in the Ararat plain in Armenia, near the closed border with Turkey. The monastery was host to a theological seminary and was the residence of Armenian Catholicos.
A winery with a spectacular history in wine making, bearing the name of one of the oldest grape varieties in the world-"areni"
Noravank means “New Monastery” in Armenian. However, today this name does not fit, as the monastery is already more than seven centuries old. The beautiful Noravank Monastery was built in the 13th century on the ledge of narrow winding gorge above the Amaghu River, near the city of Yeghegnadzor. The spare lines of the church contrast beautifully with the sharp red rock cliffs, and the dramatic scenery is one of the best reasons to visit Noravank. The monastery is sometimes called Amagu Noravank, to distinguish it from Noravank Monastery in the city of Goris. Amagu is the name of a small settlement which used to stand over the gorge.
Shaki Waterfall is one of Armenia’s most beautiful natural sights, located near Sisian. The waterfall drops about 18 meters through a narrow gorge, surrounded by rocky cliffs and lush greenery, creating a powerful and scenic view—especially in spring and early summer when the water flow is strongest.
Wings of Tatev is a 5.7 km cableway between Halidzor and the Tatev monastery in Armenia. It is the longest reversible aerial tramway built in only one section, and holds the record for Longest non-stop double track cable car. Construction was finished on 16 October 2010. Wings of Tatev aerial tramway is located in Syunik region, 250 km to the south of Yerevan
The Tatev Monastery is a 9th-century Armenian Apostolic monastery located on a large basalt plateau near the Tatev village in Syunik Province in southeastern Armenia. The term "Tatev" usually refers to the monastery. The monastic ensemble stands on the edge of a deep gorge of the Vorotan River. Tatev is known as the bishopric seat of Syunik and played a significant role in the history of the region as a center of economic, political, spiritual and cultural activity

Hovo was a great driver and brought be safely to all the interesting points. He also helped me to take photos! We had great conversations and I appreciate it a lot
This was a fantastic private tour. Hobo was a good guide. We drove at our own pace and saw all the important attractions. Hobo was fun and knowledgeable. This was a highlight of my Armenia trip.
This was an amazing day tour and I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to travel around Armenia in a private tour. We arrived in Khor Virap and Noravank before any buses so we had both places to ourselves. Tatev requires a few more hours of driving but is 100% worth it, especially to see more parts of the country. Sergey spoke great English and shared his knowledge of Armenia and the sites with us, along with being a safe driver on the mountain roads. Don't hesitate to book this activity! Thanks Sergey!
Long day but well worthwhile if you have limited time in Armenia - Hovo was our guide 5 stars to him for the day.
Mr Hovhannes our driver/guide should get a big shoutout. He is the best one ever! It’s money well spent. Memory Maker seems the best in business.
Great trip from Yerevan if you have limited time and you want to see a lot of sights. Levon was a fantastic driver/guide/photographer. Defo recommend doing as a private tour rather than a long group tour
My partner and I want to extend our sincerest thanks to Memory Maker Travel Armenia for an unforgettable tour. Our private tour to Khor Virap, Areni, Noravank, Shaki, and Tatev was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Our tour guide and driver, Levon, was absolutely incredible. From the moment he picked us up, we felt so welcomed and comfortable. His knowledge of the sites was fantastic, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day possible. He's not just a guide—he's a friend who made our day happy and special. We truly appreciate all of his effort. We highly recommend Memory Maker Travel and especially Levon for anyone looking for a private tour in Armenia. You won't be disappointed!
