Itinerary
Grand Bassin, also known as the Ganga Talao, the sacred lake for the Hindus. You see Hinduism in its splendour: tolerance, mysticism, rituals, philosophy, Gods, temples. Furthermore, the place boosts a serene nature: ancient volcano crater having transformed into a lake. Breathtaking views of the south, centre and forested parts of the island. Last but not least: some amazing wild life: macaque monkeys, fish, eels and others.
At Chamouny, you visit the coloured earth park. It's a mix of lush tropical nature, with endemic plants like Ebony; volcanic geography with the multiple lava soil, boulders; adventure park with activities involving quad bikes and ziplines and tortoises, deer, to name just these.
